FYI - Other than the KDs and the Kawhis of the world, my giant 2020 expiring is basically off the table at this point. I might even cut him. However, Derrick Rose, in all his resurgency, is on the block.

Losing in the finals is no different than being in the lotto. U still lost, and Simmons got exposed. You just figured out ur cap situation is **** and u got to keep giving bums like trey burke NTC just to have a shot at signing them in free agency

I'm not in a rush to make any moves, because we've still got a couple of weeks until the draft and a few new GMs coming on board. That being said the below picks and players are on the block. I would love to send out Dragic (who is productive) with a good pick/picks for a smaller deal and/or upgrade at pg. Would also consider giving up the 33rd pick to take on my three small expirings for cap space.

2019 picks 28, 29, and 33
2020 Pelicans 1st (and/or possibly my own)
Brandon Knight expiring ($17)
Justin Jackson expiring ($8)
Frank Mason expiring ($5)

Just an update on a few things. First, I think everyone knows this already, but justaknickfan is no longer active in the game. BrazilianKnick is the new sole GM of the Miami Heat.

Also, Context has agreed to take over the Detroit Pistons. After the GMs we lost this season its good to have him back involved again! Teams can begin talking with Detroit about potential offseason moves now. I have feelers out looking for a couple more people to take over the other two teams that are open. We will hopefully get them filled before the draft.

Still waiting to hear from Swiss also regarding next season. As soon as I do, I will be putting the "Extension" rule change up for vote. Majority rules. I want that voted on before the draft as well so if anyone has any further ideas, now is the time.

Lastly, once again, if you have not yet let me know about third year options for last years second round picks (Brooklyn, Cleveland, Memphis, New Orleans, Phoenix, San Antonio) or EL players (Brooklyn, Charlotte, Cleveland, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Portland, San Antonio) please do so. The deadlines for those transactions is coming up next week.

i think we should have Smash present his extension idea a bit more thoroughly. I think he was onto something where drafted players who become allstars or all NBA players deserved to get at least $300+ on there extension starting annual salary and you get a year to create the capspace or let the player become a free agent where the highest bidder would essentially get him signed (doesnt mean you would lose him it just means he gets what the market rate is that offseason).

Come on lol you know 10 percent of cap is way to cheap for some of these rookie extension. A player like Zion should be closer to 20-25 percent of cap on his next deal and not less than 10 percent
