I looked into this a bit. I would be open to adding a clause if a player makes a sim all-NBA team but I don't know if making an all-star team should automatically get you a $300+ contract. There are plenty of players who have made an All-star game during their rookie deals who don't necessarily automatically deserve that kind of contract.
Plus, as was said before, the fact that we have a hard cap makes a big difference in this kind of thing. Making a mandatory extension number would almost punish drafting well.
Those are my thoughts.

most of the time it really isnt even drafting well its you had a really high draft pick and took BPA, they are exceptions such as Donovan Mitchell but those are few and beyond. Being a hard cap just means you got to manage your team salary a bit better.
