Off top of my head, ORL G2, PHI G2/G3/G6, pretty much every MIL game etc

Won't cut it vs GSW

My biggest worry is that the players esp the young ones are just happy to be here and willing to take the loss. won't have to worry about that with lowry, gasol, or kawhi, but not sure about fvv, danny, norm.

Clippers are such a clown organization

lmao it's so dumb sending scouts to a game you can just watch on TV and get an even better angle.

No one is actually “scouting” Kawhi.

This is simply a way for Balmer to flex his financial muscles to show Kawhi how serious they are about acquiring him.

By sending scouts to a game? lol. Theyre clearly prepping for the offseason with kawhi in mind

Gasol on Bogut/Looney (whoever they start)
Kawhi on Draymond Green (Stop his playmaking)
Lowry on Iguodala
Green on Thompson
Siakam on Curry

If Thompson starts heating up then switch Kawhi and Green. If Curry heats up switch Kawhi with Siakam.

I like Siakam on Thompson or Curry. The length of siakam and Quickness can cause them problems.

I`d probably switch Siakam and Green.

Make Klay shoot over Siakam or force him to dribble the ball. I think he`ll have serious issues with P`s length and quickness. Pascal also can save a little more energy for offence in this matchup rather than chasing around Steph (not the Klay is an easy guy to go against, he's just not Steph)

On the flip side you get Danny and Kawhi thwarting the Dray/Steph PnR. I think their chemistry will be huge in those situations. Tell Danny/Norm to take the offence that comes to them, but use all the energy they have to make life as tough as possible on Steph. I also think telling Danny to make that his sole focus and to stop worrying about his shot might help him be a little more loose and in his own head a bit less. Kawhi can play off Dray a bit and be a free saftey of sorts, getting his hands in passing lands and getting out on the break. Dont guard Dray on the 3 line until he forces you too.

The thing that scares me is if Kerr decides to go small and starts Dray at C right off that bat. I think that basically neutralises Marc and forces us to go with with Serge to start, or even Pascal at C and go small. Boogie coming back and starting honestly works in our favour IMO.

if kerr goes small, gasol can feast inside, jv style

Take off your homer-glasses and think about it rationally instead of thinking of sarcastic replies.

Why else do you think they’re sending people to watch him? This lets Kawhi know how serious they are about acquiring him short of tampering.

Some of you guys want Kawhi to stay so bad you’re losing your ability to think with common sense.

I don't think it impresses Kawhi if someone sends scouts to his game tbh.

I 100% agree, I’m just rationalizing why they would even do such a thing. Like I said, it’s not because they’re actually “scouting” him.

lmao you know how common it is to send scouts to games? Sending scouts to a game isnt going to impress anyone. If it werent for that tweet no one would have even know their scouts were there.Theyre clearly prepping. Either prepping on how to build a roster around him because they know hes coming or prepping on a gameplan and style of play to sell him on in a free agency meeting

Name me one other instance a franchise has sent a scout to watch another player already in the league for the whole year? I’ll wait.

Otherwise you’re repeating exactly my sentiment. They can easily all do that from their offices back in LA, why do you think they’re doing it in person?

My dude, you’re the one that just told me it’s a common thing. Don’t back pedal on this.

If it was so common you’d be able to find out fairly quickly, but it’s not. That’s why we knew Lawrence Frank was at all our games, because it’s fairly strange for a franchise to do that.

Again, why do you think they did this?

I'm pretty sure for playoffs Raptors chooses their jerseys. In the Philly series, they started off with black jerseys on the road but after losing Game 3, they decided to change it up and wear the red "Earned" jersey, and then they won Game 4. The Raptors equipment manager is very superstitious so they wore it to Game 6 but then they lost. In Game 1 and 2 of the Bucks series they wore the black jerseys again and lost both. Game 5 they wore the "Earned" jerseys again and won.

My guess is they will wear the white jerseys at home (9-2 these playoffs) and the Earned jerseys on the road. I don't think they have considered the White and Gold ones at home (due to the good record with existing whites) and not sure if its right to wear the OVO ones on the road.
jersey schedule is right here

https://lockervision.nba.com

We won’t be wearing the ovo ones unfortunately

We’ll be wearing the white original jerseys and the red earned ones

Thanks!

These look sick btw

Dude scouts showing up to games isnt uncommon. Thats literally their job. Theres pro scouts and college/international scouts. Pro scouts usually scout for upcoming games and are depended on to give the front office info when it comes to trades/free agency. Im sure if steve ballmer wanted to flex his financial muscles he could do much better than send scouts. What are the odds of kawhi even knowing clippers scouts were there? It was probably like 1 or 2 dudes dressed in plain clothes sitting somewhere far up in the stands
