Lebron/#4 for #1 (Zion)/Salary filler

The Lakers get their franchise cornerstone for the next 10 years and the Pelicans do their best to convince AD to stay.

No way in heck does NO do this deal.

But, if they are interested it’s a fist pump snap call LeBron is on the next plane to the Big Easy accept!

LeBron is washed up. Moving him for Zion is a no brainer.

I really like this team and love the idea of adding Bam. When Whiteside was hurt he really shined in Miami. Question is would they part with him? Doing this trade could allow them to package there 1st along with one of there bad contracts.

If Lebron is washed up, averaging 27, 8 & 8. I’ll take four more “washed up” players.

I know this was hyperbole, but come on. & There is no way I would give up both Lebron and # 4 for an unproven talent. Yes, I know Zion is crazy talented and Lebron is aging out, but I think it’s too early to bail on Lebron and the plan to win now.

Thoughts on BI/ZO plus #4 for Myles Turner and potentially pick #18

Sign Kemba/Butler depending who we trade

If you’re saying (BI or Zo) + #4 for Myles Turner and the #18. I would be open to it, I don’t know if Indy would be agreeable. I think a combo of the three for Turner and #18 is too rich.
I’m high on Zo and Ingram and personally would hate to lose both.

I am saying pick one of ZO or BI and then add the 4th pick for Myles and potentially 18

If we lose out on AD and we have signed Butler/Kemba/Kawhi, then this is the perfect move

Turner is a great fit at the 5 for Lebron and a defensive anchor

Of all the bigger named free agents this summer, I’m the least bit interested in Butler. He’s unquestionably very talented, but with his age and general decline I foresee a substantial productivity decline come three years from now.

Lonzo,

I would trade him.
I think he has been 2 years with the Lakers and proven he is ready to move.
He is not the starting point guard on a title team unless you have a deep team with four excellent guys who can score.

He is a above average defender with excellent passing skills.

Send him to a team that is willing to give you what he is worth now

I think Lonzo’s playing style does not fit well with Lebron. Rather than give up on his talents I would consider shifting full time to the 6th man role and have him run with the backups. I think he would help the 2nd unit be productive.

100% behind a Harden - Lebron trade.

It was hyperbole. Obv he’s not washed up but his defense is nowhere near where it used to be.

With that said he can likely still be the best player on a championship team but the window is closing quickly.

And yes if a declining LeBron can be traded for Zion Williamson Lakers management would have to pull the trigger. Zion may or may not be the next big thing but for the foreseeable future he should help land whatever free agents the Lakers want.

Would take much more. Bron, #4, Hart, 2021 1st for Harden, and filler such as Hartenstein.

Rockets go CP3, Gordon, Lebron, Tucker, Capela
#4, Shump, Hart, Nene plus the mle

Hou is a legit contender if they stay healthy.

Lakers go:

Lonzo, Harden, BI, Kuzma, C and have like 40M in cap space.

No chance obviously. Wonder if we could get Harden at all, also seems like no chance

The reality is NOP will say NOPE to anyone knocking for Zion. His hype may be on par w/ Lebrons as Lebron was entering the NBA.

I totally agree. Young stars on rookie contracts have too much value. They can be locked up for seven years and have very little leverage until their sixth season.

I think I recall him being untouchable. But #4, Mo, and Bonga is a lot to give up. Miami could get their pg of future in Garland to pair with Richardson.

Not even spacing for us though

3 teamer:
Lal in: Beal, Bam
Lal out: Lonzo, BI, #4, MO, 2021 1st

Wiz in: BI, ZO, 2021 LAL 1st
Wiz out: Beal

Heat in: #4, Wagner
Heat out: Bam

Or send the Heat: ZO, 2021 1st, Wagner and Wiz get #4 instead of ZO and 2021 1st

Sign a pg with room exception such as Cory Jo/Collison/Hill

Collison, Beal, Butler, Lebron, Bam
Caruso, Hart, Kuzma, vet mins

So if a player is considered untouchable there is no way the 4th pick in this draft as many experts have considered a “weak” draft plus Wagner and Bonga is too much. Bam is a very good defender being able to switch and protect the basket. He also is a very underrated passer. I’d do that trade in a second if we can’t move the 4th pick in a bigger trade getting Beal or Davis.
