NY would explode.
we were headed there before the pacers snuffed us in the 2nd round that year.

you don't think a contender might want eric gordon or pj tucker? i think so. but point taken.

Isn't that one of the things the Knicks want to do for Durant?

how would we know that? sounds like a serious assumption.

gordon is falling off. but i think any contender would give up a late 1st for tucker. the knicks should think about it after kd/kyrie comes. we probably can't work it out salary wise though because we'll need a 8 mill expiring. maybe we can use frank.
a quick besart -
mitch
tucker
kd
rj
kyrie
that front court defense would be really good. the backcourt....well, nothings perfect.

Durant / Melo
Davis / Mitch or Vonleh

Why the fascination to bring back Melo?

Before David West and KG conspired to damn near rip Melo's arm off.
I have no doubt we would've beaten the Pacers had Melo been 100% for that series. And the Heat struggled defending the 3 that year. Of course, Tyson showing up would've helped as well but the guy was always just a talker after his first season in New York.

Looking back, with Shump & Copeland are the only ones who show up to flank Melo, I’m surprised we even took them to 6.
Felton JR Tyson all abysmal and destroyed by their IND counterparts.
