Why is it so hot? Where has the rain gone? Is it actually August?

Ha! No just did this one building.
The recycled content for the building structure was ingenious.
Roof Solar panels incorporated gutters to collect rain water for reuse.
Roof top classroom? Compost toilets, Recycled pottable water.
They're reusing beams from the church that was demolished close by.
Interesting Green Building Design.

Re: Hawks Board Non-Sports Talk
Moments like these, people reveal who they really are. This guy...was a hero.
USA TodayVirginia Beach shooting hero died trying to save others
When Ryan Keith Cox and his co-workers heard the gunshots, he rushed to get them to safety but sacrificed himself to try to save others.
Cox was one of 12 victims of Friday's shooting at a Virginia Beach municipal building, and one of his co-workers says the longtime public utilities worker died a hero.
Cox led co-workers into a break room and told them to stand against a wall. Cox stood guard and then told the group to lock themselves into an office when it looked clear. But he wasn't staying with them.
"I said, 'Keith, come on,'" Dewar told the Virginian-Pilot. "He said, 'I've got to see if anybody else needs help.' He said, 'Barricade the door. Do it now.'"
The day after the shooting, Dewar said she went to Cox's parents' house to tell them of their son's heroics. The two had long been friends, with Cox often driving Dewar home or giving her a hug when she was down.

Re: Hawks Board Non-Sports Talk
I didn't read any of the posts that followed my last submission to the RESSLER CNBC comment thread, fwiw, except what the mod said in his/her post at the bottom.
But.
Just coming over here to reaffirm that it's totally understood that we're not here to talk politics.
AND.
THAT'S EXACTLY one-third of my point... the other third being that our owner is one very dense person if he thinks all of his customer base is content that HE DOESN'T EXERCISE THE SAME DISCRETION that we do.
And the last third is, as long as there's a city out there begging for a franchise... excuse me... *se cough att cough le*... don't fail to read the clues right in front of your eyes.
This isn't some casual thing with Ressler. You think CNBC thought, "Hey, let's go find out what the owner of the Atlanta Hawks might say if we give him a 3 minute segment on-air"... ? Or do you think more likely it was the other way around. He is incensed. He is motivated. He is a west coast guy, not a southern one. Don't be silly that it's not anything he's thought of.
Wrapping up my commentary on the topic... I suppose someone followed me or someones followed me and began edging into the dark forest of the actual political issue Ressler is upset about... that wasn't my cause, I didn't go there... but thank you folks, if someone or someones did that, muddying the thread so that the mod did what s/he did, shutting down discussion of Ressler's actions, and what to take from that.
Too bad we can't have a genuine conversation about a precise concern raised by the actions of our owner. People evidently didn't like my question, but they'd love my question, or so it seems, if Ressler had come down on *their* side of that issue... and that's too bad that we can't just be a consistent, conscientious group of folks, prepared to have cogent, solid discussion.
Surprised? Of course not. But being ever the optimist, I hoped maybe it could have... to the point that I repeated the question, what, six times?

Re: Hawks Board Non-Sports Talk
Billionaire Alex Meruelo who attempted to purchase our Atlanta Hawks in the past is purchasing the Arizona NHL team.
_____________
After years of speculation over the ownership of the Arizona Coyotes, news has finally broken that they will be sold.
Although it is still needing to be approved by the NHL and by the Board of Governors meeting next week, the Phoenix Business Journal has broken that the Coyotes will be purchased by billionaire Alex Meruelo.
Meruelo owns a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip and previously attempted to purchase the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA however, that transaction was stopped by the league.
No reports of relocation have been reported.
This story will be updated as details are confirmed. https://www.nhltraderumors.me/2019/06/breaking-arizona-coyotes-to-be-bought.html?m=1

To be honest I’ve been following Vince since he was a rookie, but until he came to the Hawks and we got an in depth look at who he was as a person with such class and respect for the game and his peers. It’s pretty great stuff. I don’t often love or even like a player once they leave the Hawks, I’ll make an exception with half man/half amazing!
Go Vince!
Go Hawks!

I think it's something with the link. I couldn't get in earlier and tried my saved link again a hour ago and still couldn't get in but when I googled the site and went through there it worked.
