No hesi, Marc Gasoline.

Mans was LOOKING for his shot. Treys, fades, jumphooks in the lane. We got the 2008-2015 Marc Gasol tonight.

Warriors gonna come out absolutely wildin' on Sunday.

not even close, these narratives will continue to pop up tho with every team the raptors go up against. THE RAPTORS DEFENSE IS BY FAR THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE. We take away your main options and make you beat us other ways, we can switch on anything except gasol who can hedge with the best of them and even then he usually gets a contested shot when iso'd on the perimeter.

Chill with the hyperbole, the Bucks defense was every bit as good as the Raps.. Don't know if they have the sustainable offense though..

oh Jacqua...poor you... you'll be in shambles when the raps win it all. even worse, you're celtics are going to suck for years. enjoy bud.

Why is he so anti Raps i dont get it? Im tired as hell watching GSW facing Lebron with a bunch of retired vets. Finally a good matchup where GSW ain't the clear cut favourites and people are pissed off...lol

The warriors played pretty poorly as a team and were still within 4 points in the 4th quarter. This is going to be a long series even if KD is not able to play.

Really? That’s your hot take with the Dubs leading by 1 in the first game in the 2nd quarter?

Come at me.

Bucks were up 2-0. And we know what happened. Just saying.

Y’all Raptors fans are a bit insufferable.
I get being passionate.
But it’s beyond bordering obnoxious now.
As a neutral I was rooting for the Raptors for real too.

Curry and Klay will get their looks to score but everyone else is on lockdown. This was an impressive defensive effort by the entire Raptors team.

Kawhi was mediocre tonight.. Lowry wasn't incredible either. It's game by game.

Yeah we won with Kyle and kawhi going 7-23.

I predicted Raps to win today...still got Warriors in 6..I think Warriors win the next 3, then Raps get one, and lose in 6

What's even scarier is that Steph and Klay both played around their averages (or in Klays case, above average for the postseason).

Without KD it's hard to see the Warriors winning a game. Kawhi is better than Steph, and even if the Warriors have the next few best players, the Raps are DEEP.

And even if KD comes back, the Raptors have the defense to make it a series.

Ohhhh Finals hot-takes. You never fail.

It was a nice win for Toronto. If they win Game 2, they will have done their job. But I would be very surprised to see some of the crazy shots we saw from them duplicate themselves in game 2. I'll take Golden State game 2.

This was always going to be a series. This will never, ever be a Raptors sweep or Raptors in 5. With or without Durant. As far as Kawhi > Steph, I'm not seeing it.

There's a few solid data points to back it up.

First, Kawhi has had a lot of success against the Warriors (relative to other teams).

Second, the Raptors destroyed the Warriors at Oracle without Kawhi and are now 3-0 against them this year.

Third, the Raps have the defense and personnel to get it done.

As far as Kawhi - he's a DPOY level defender who is scoring 30+ points per game in the playoffs. And this is a finals MVP, so he won't be choking like some other superstars the Warriors have played against. When you factor in both ends of the floor, he is significantly better than Curry.

nah hes going back, (if they lose). If they win he can't, he gets to go back next season and everyone would put more respect on his 3rd ring.

Warriors needed a warm up game anyways. Expect a tougher game 2.
