I liked how the role players were being aggressive and taking their shots.

Gasol, VanVleet, Siakam, and Green all did a great job of not being afraid of the moment. I knew Danny would take his shots since he’s been on a championship team, but the rest of them could’ve easily just been caught up in the moment and just look for Kawhi to bail them out. Gotta keep up that aggression if they wanna win this. This won’t be easy at all even more so when KD returns.

kawhi looks hobbled and shot badly and they still won. the role players did their job. but the warriors will play better and he might be too hurt to play better.

Kawhi has an injury that's gonna follow him. He'll have some good games though. The role players confidence is really up there.

Seeing Kawhi wearing New Balance is just weird.

So look what you can get with a later round pick. Just have to be good at this stuff ... or lucky. No lottery picks on Toronto.

yeah, i saw that stat by berman, the ****. he also said how the knicks had like 6 lottery players (dsjr, frank, knox, vonleh, hez, mudiay) on a 17 win team.

that said, is siakam for real? or is he just benefiting from leonard, lowry, and gasol being the focal point of the warriors defense? because that's a beastly game, and i didn't follow him much.

will this be a case like leonard when he won the nba finals MVP?

but who do the knicks also have?

How’d they get Kawhi?

They traded two lottery picks, 1 who turned into an all star.

Unless you’re banking on finding an all time great stud outside the lottery, I’d play the odds HW

I think we have some impressive young talent. We just need a go-to scorer and solid PG play.

I hope KD doesn't come back and the Raptors sweep them. It'll be a big FU from KD to Draymond ''We don't need you'' Green and the Dubs

All they really need is to win on their floor.

KD should be back by then, and they can rock.

True. I was just trying to say that they're still not really under pressure.

It's pretty cool, no garbage personalities in these finals. Gotta love it.

He's not a fluke though. Not at all. He's more reliable offensively than Lowry and not shabby on defense either.

As much as I'm not into praising division rivals I do have to commend the Raps for building a team with the methodology I endorse. By finding players that have skills and abilities on both sides of the court so that it creates an overall level of competency on both offense and defense then all it takes is having a couple of players excel to elevate the team.

They may have been very fortunate that Kawhi forced himself out the way he did and SA wasn't into dealing with a western conference team but the Raps had just enough of what they wanted to get a deal done. He is a clear upgrade over Derozan but the development of Sakiam plays as much of a role in getting them to the finals as getting Kawhi added to an already solid on both ends roster.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
