only sticking point is NO’s evaluation of rj as a trade asset. it prob isnt that high given griffin is in charge.

Dude, how bout you knock off the steady stream of RJ negativity? I know I'm sick of it and I'm sure many others, too. You're no scout.

He’s trolling at this point

how is it trolling when it's simply true.

not my fault many knicks fans are getting hyped over this dude despite reality.

It’s trolling because we get it. You hate Barrett. There’s not much else you’re adding.

It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination where Ja Morant and Zion Williamson played on the same team in college. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

I wonder if the Wolves and Knicks have spoken? Rosas has spoken about trying to move around, mentioned moving up instead of back, and because he wants to make a splash building his team, it would make sense for them to at least talk. Coming from the Morey group, I wonder if there are some options there for a pick swap and player(s)

Zenzibar wrote:This draft is getting interesting. Seems like almost everyone within basketball circles and fanbases are giving RJ a lot of publicity. More so than Ja.
It also's catching my attention that it's not mere paper-news fodder, as teams are now bidding against each other to get a shot at drafting JR Barrett. This more so than Morant, so I believe RJ is slowing creeping in on Ja, as a # 2 type value.

I believe you are 100% incorrect. Someone may trade up to get Ja at 2, but he's not getting drafted later than the 2nd pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

Agreed.

I think there’s arguments to be made if you’re not sold on RJ.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but his shot is low and slow. Put in a different way if he were to be guarded by Mitch Robinson while he's shooting, Mitch would be salivating.

Mitch won’t be running out to him if we draft him :naaa:

Not even Mitch level

Not even DSJ level

His athleticism is good but not elite

Declining Memphis invitation is just going to make them want him more.

It's going to be a punch in the gut when RJ is called at #2.

Imagine Ja and Zion though :o :o :o

That's must see tv!

If Pelicans get Ja, would they want to move Holiday?

Would probably be a better fit with KD AD

take RJ, guys!

He loves basketball and plays w passion. He isn't someone who plays just bc he's tall and athletic. He loves the game and will put in the work to improve.

RJ should at least grant the Grizzlies’ request for a workout.

He can tank it like what Jabari Parker did for the Cavs but that thing could bring very bad karma.
