He can tank it like what Jabari Parker did for the Cavs but that thing could bring very bad karma.

with all do respect to you worst to first- f thaaaaaaaaaat! business is business...its with in his right to
to do it...they need to just take Morant and run with it- i always say to people why would you want to be with
anyone you have to beg to stay with you...

You are right of course but if I’m the Grizzlies I would still do serious work on RJ regardless.

He really seems like a good fit on their squad.

i hear you...not me- if im the grizz- i d say f that **** and take morant- i dont need that "im doing you a favor look" looking at me  im not into that W2first...

James Wiseman may have pulled out of the pack in terms of being #1 but still a lot of good guys here, a handful of which are local kids who am sure would be proud to don a Knick jersey.

2020 is pretty weak imo as well.I watched Mobley just dominate Wiseman

if I were to rank HS prospects.

!. Bates
2. Green
3. Mobley
4. Jalen Johnson
5. Scottie barnes

No one in the 2020 or 2019 class

When was this matchup between Mobley and Wiseman are you talking about? The January one?

I can assure that minor knee procedure will not effect a thing in the top-3. R.J. will be a Knick.

No wonder we doing due diligence. I only do something like this if we are sure we are getting 2 max cats and want to add a guy who would fit in better while adding more assets.

I definitely see some similarities to Harden's game offensively sans the court vision/passing ability. He's a little bit taller than James and will arguably be stronger as well as he fills into his body. Other major difference is Harden was a pretty good 3 point shooter in college at ASU if I remember and has always been a good FT shooter.

That's probably my major concern with RJ is his FT shooting and the fact the way he plays the game will probably have him spending a lot of time at the FT line. Shooting sub 70% in college is worrisome but he does have good form to his shot. Harden isn't that good of a 3 point shooter, he just takes a lot of them and lives at the FT line. If RJ can improve to the mid 70's from the line- which isn't far fetched at all- he could be a 20 ppg guy for the next decade plus. He has a versatile game, he just needs to sharpen every aspect of it.

Cavs drafted, Tristan, Anothony Bennett, Andrew Wiggins...pretty much every top Canadian prospect except the best one in Jamal Murray.

Not surprised they want RJ

the problem is, even if the pelicans preferred that, it makes it more difficult salary wise. i think none of this happens. either we take rj or we trade him to n.o., this trade down stuff doesn't seem likely. i think we're just exploring every scenario just to be as well informed as possible.

It also's catching my attention that it's not mere paper-news fodder, as teams are now bidding against each other to get a shot at drafting JR Barrett. This more so than Morant, so I believe RJ is slowing creeping in on Ja, as a # 2 type value.

I believe you are 100% incorrect. Someone may trade up to get Ja at 2, but he's not getting drafted later than the 2nd pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

Unless a team really loves RJ Barrett and wants to trade ahead of us to get him.

Add ball-handling. Harden has the ball on a string.

I'm thinking I like Coby White better than Darius Garland, is bigger, can switch between the 1 and 2, is as good as a scorer and passer, more capable defender.
