Yeah that’s the thing with Wilder. He’s pretty much below average at almost everything skill wise as a pro, but that power devastating.

He's also got some above average handspeed and more importantly, is pretty accurate when looking for the KD, which is usually a KO. Tough to pick between him and Joshua, but I've gotta say I'm picking Wilder at the moment against Joshua.

It's gross that this is the economy of boxing. That opponent got, maybe 8K, to fight one of the most pedigreed boxers America has produced in a while. And lost long-term health for it.

Everyone correctly complains about that it's unfair to use PEDs in a sport where athletes exchange strikes. How is it not unfair to set-up matches between opponents this unevenly matched...in a sport where athletes exchange strikes.

This model is bull. Haney should be fighting other pedigreed boxers not preying on the economically disadvantaged. If PEDs are all-the-more wrong in boxing, so are mismatches.

I got Wilder too, tired of Joshua's team playing hide and seek while Wilder fights the top heavyweight guys. I think Wilder is taking a huge risk giving Ortiz a rematch smh he should of waited until Joshua fight on June 1st. Wilder vs Joshua is like Pac vs mayweather all over again, I don't think we'll see this fight for another 3 years the way this thing is going SMH.

Joshua should not want any part of Wilder.

And he doesn't even make it out of the tuneup! What an upset!

Props to Ruiz. That being said how embarrassing is it to have a fat f*ck like that as a champ. Sorry, but it’s **** sad.

30-1 underdog. :nonono: Joshua and his entire team should be absolutely embarrassed.

That’s legit embarrassing. Ruiz is so out of shape and his body shouldn’t be able to sustain any real shots. How in the hell?!?

And he has like zero technique. That is all power.

Just absolutely shocking. I can't even put it into words.

AJ has never been a throw technique out the window brawler. Once Ruiz ate his best punch and didnt break you saw AJ visibly deflate. He had no mindset to go deep rounds with Ruiz. It would have been bad if Ruiz caught him with one punch but hey it happens. But to pummel AJ 4 times to the point he outright quit? AJ is finished.

That 3rd round was incredible. I thought Ruiz was toast when Joshua knocked him down, then Ruiz gets up, attacks, and ends up knocking down Joshua twice. I don't think he ever truly recovered. The fight slowed for the next couple rounds, Joshua kinda started getting back but then Ruiz just took it right out of him in the 7th to end it. Gotta give it to Ruiz, he knew he had it in him to beat Joshua. I felt his other lone title shot, against Parker in NZ, was such a close call that I thought he may be good enough to win a strap someday but probably not one of the top guys who can emerge. I knew the guy could fight but I didn't see this coming, a handful of trolls will come out and say they did but reality hardly anyone did. I'll say this about the HW division and I've said it since Klitschko decline...no one is as good as they are, but there's a bunch of guys in a similar tier that when matched up, we'll more than likely get a good fight out of it.

Haha Joshua runs and hides from Wilder and Fury, yet he gets stopped by some fat tune up fight. Joshua would've been put to sleep by Wilder and Fury would've danced circles around him.
