Wonder if they’re going in for an AD bid then?

Crabbe (expiring filler)
LeVert
Allen
Dinwiddie or Harris
Picks (they only have one extra 1st and it’s DEN, so it would have to be their own)

Trade for ad

And maybe ask for jrue too?

Or we can just sign another FA. Who is the best free agent PG after Kyrie and Kemba tho?

How many wins does the kids and Durant get us to?

45? 48?

You’re probably right I was just throwing out who’s probably ranked after them. UFA is probably Beverly or Rubio

We could probably steal away Brogdon with a monster offer sheet but that’s not something I want to do even though I’m part of the Brogdon brigade

Not tryna ask a dumb question but how exactly does Vegas odds work? Where do they get their information from to base the odds?

Also another question

Does anybody know what the vegas odds were for Lebron last summer around this time of year?

DLo and Kyrie is a terrible pairing and a poor allocation of resources. The Nets would be chained to a treadmill for the duration of those max deals.

If we're lucky

Even if we get a 2nd tier guy like Middleton or Harris, I think we top out at around 50 wins and a 2nd round exit

If we're unlucky, KD gets injured for a month like LeBron did, morale goes to sh*t, and we win 35 games. Can't count on moving up in the draft like the Lakers did, either

VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward

It's just how people are betting

If more people are betting on something to happen, the odds increase, if less people are betting then they decrease

It's an indicator of what the general population thinks will happen, usually

Tbh i think i would be happy if we can find a way to get both Bev and Jrue. Come playoff time you gonna need vets like that and I already know KD has to respect them considering theyve played in the west together for so long.

Jrue/ Bev / Dsj / Kadeem
Dotson/ Trier
Kd Knox
Ad
Dj

The rest of roster will get filled out on cheap vet contracts and late draft picks. but we might also have to get rid of DSJ but if we trade Mitch I hope we can keep him.

I'd still be ok with kids 1 year deals and durant if that's all we could get. we'd probably miss the playoffs or be an 8 seed at best but we'd still have durant on the books for 3 more years cap space for 2020 free agency and all our assets

Durant will likely come here even by himself. He was rumored to come here way before the 2nd max opportunity even opened up.

It's rather obvious it isn't totally about the court with him coming here. It's a business move too. So, imo he'll be here.

I dont think the Knicks created that 2nd max to facilitate a trade and fork over a bunch of assets on top of it. That makes little sense and would be typical Knicks, actually totally Knicks fashion, regardless of the caliber of player incoming.

A deal for Anthony Davis doesnt have to happen anytime soon. Hopefully perry will let such a deal if it happens on terms he can live with in line with his vision. If someone wants to bend over and let the Pels Oz them out, then let them do it.

I actually think having durant around could be good for player development as long as he keeps a positive attitude if we aren't winning and doesn't act like lebron try to trade the whole team and pout at the end of the bench. As long as we can find some pass first PG to distribute the ball and not someone like mudiay

I doubt the general public thought bran was going to take the throne. inside information is heavily involved.

Kyrie and the nets are a match. They are the cheesy type, much like pizza. You want to get the top notch Italian original and end up with take away quality. That's Kyrie. Too much cheese and just not the whole package. Get any combination of KD, AD, Kawhi ave Butler/Klay. Those are complete players. No flaws, just straight ballers.
