And he has like zero technique. That is all power.

Just absolutely shocking. I can't even put it into words.

AJ has never been a throw technique out the window brawler. Once Ruiz ate his best punch and didnt break you saw AJ visibly deflate. He had no mindset to go deep rounds with Ruiz. It would have been bad if Ruiz caught him with one punch but hey it happens. But to pummel AJ 4 times to the point he outright quit? AJ is finished.

You're reading way too psychology into this. He got caught behind the ear and was physically damaged.

I'm really interested in his jump from cruiser to heavy, I think he could be the best boxer/puncher out of anybody.

He's so damn skilled. A fight agaisnt Wilder would be a real dream fight.

Hopefully, he's taking this injury time to get on some Secretariat sauce. A 215 lb Usyk would be a force.

Joshua seems like a sincerely great guy. But Eddie Hearn is such a douche and his strategy with Joshua has been so damn annoying. As a result, this is really damn satisfying. You could see Hearn in the 5th row very stoic throughout that fight from the 3rd round on.

Do you remember that, after Miller got dropped, Hearn was insisting that the replacement would not be cashing in but would have to fight for the sake of the belt? He was - explicitly - going to low-ball the opponent. The opponent should be grateful for the chance at a belt. It would be hilarious if Ruiz, now, insisted that any re-match with Joshua be fought on the same grounds: Joshua should be taking minimal money, fighting for the honour of (Ruiz's) belt

lol! OK, maybe it was just negotation talk when I heard Hearn pushing that they were not going to open the purse strings for the Miller replacement. My bad.

Joshua got 25

To put things into perspective, Wilder got less than 3 for his last defence

Usyk isn’t a small guy plus he’s a southpaw and that spells real trouble for the hws

He's not small but he's no Fury or Joshua. Those guys are superhuman-big. Could he hurt a Fury? Not without a lot of added muscle.

Yeah those guys are massive

However, Usyk is taller than Ruiz & way more skilled plus Wilder doesn’t really use his height

Sober Fury is tough due to his height & skills

Usyk would have to outwork him especially but I can see him carving up the others

The handling of Joshua/Wilder/Fury is everything wrong with Boxing and especially HW boxing. HW boxing was handed a golden goose and they just threw it away.

You had 3 undefeated guys all in their prime and they checked off all the boxes you want when hyping a division. You had an American and 2 British fighters. You had the scariest KO specialist since maybe Tyson, you had the uber skilled guy and the guy with a good mix of both. Personality wise they were all different, all with different kinds of backgrounds. You even had black and white.

What do we get, we get an amazing and very rememberable and talked about first fight between 2 of them that goes to a controversial draw. Amazing first step to get HW boxing talked about again. But either than an immediate rematch or one of them fighting Joshua, all 3 just go their separate ways. What a waste of a golden opportunity.

Say what you want about the UFC, they do not have this problem at all. If anything the have the complete opposite problem now where they rely too much on these dream/money fights. Could you imagine Conor and Khabib just kept fighting but the UFC never made those 2 fight.

The whole situation is made easy to bare when you consider that all three of those guys are pretty **** at boxing. HW just isn't a crucible for real talent, so losing head-to-heads between those three isn't a huge loss. HW might have the sensation of being the big boys but's ultimately low quality.

Whereas, the fact that contract disputes have kept guys like Ward, Mikey, and Crawford out of top competition is way more tragic. None of Fury, Wilder, or Joshua have a fraction of the talent any of those other three have. Hell, I'd take a single Billy Joe Saunders vs GGG or Canelo fight over a round robin of trilogies between Fury, Wilder, and Joshua. Or Mikey against Crawford.

Sorry I'm late but I was on vacation... Joshua LMAOOOO! what more can I say, that was classic ! Props to Ruiz for believing in himself and overcoming that huge size differential. Never liked AJ, he's been ducking the top fighters for a while and his only name is an old washed up Klitscho. Ortiz should of took that fight, i believe he could of won and I definitely think he could of beat him now. It just sucks that we missed out on a super mega fight with AJ and Wilder. Baby Miller probably could of won that fight too lol man it's going to be hard for AJ to bounce back from this one, even if he KO Ruiz in the rematch.

GGG is back ! He's ready for his Canelo rematch but I highly doubt Canelo will give it to him. He looked sharp in this fight but father time will soon catch up to him, he's getting closer to 40 years old. Patiently waiting for the Fury fight and Thurman vs. Pac man. I think Pac will wash Thurman but it should be a good one.

Really? I thought Wilder got 8 Mil his last fight.. that's what i read .. And I think 14 Mil for the Fury fight. Either way, if Wilder and AJ fought last year or after the Fury fight, they both would of banked at least 40 Mil each.. smh everybody would of been paid and happy. These promoters suck !!!

All facts ! That Wilder vs Aj fight would of made HELLA bread ! That was the big money super fight but now that went to hell. Even a Fury vs Wilder rematch would of made bank. These promoters have ruined this sport, along with the corrupt judges and politics. I'm interested to see just how good Ruiz really is, hope he beats AJ on the rematch.

Fury win easily tonight. We then get a Fury/Wilder 2. While that happens have AJ/Ruiz rematch. The winner of Fury/Wilder fights the winner of AJ/Ruiz. Also have the losers face off against each other. Not that hard boxing to get this right. Its been laid out on a platter for you. These are also the biggest money fights as well.

I hate that Billy Joe Saunders is not in the mix with GGG, Canelo, and Jacobs. His style is so interesting, he's an awesome personality. Eff.

He took himself out of the mix.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

Pacquiao, I wholeheartedly apologize for doubting you and calling you a gatekeeper at this point in your career. What a win.
