because has trouble accepting advice from coaches.

dude got annoyed when knicks said he has to get in better shape, and then he hurts his back!

I think he was more annoyed at the narrative that he was out of shape altogether and that all he ate was Bojangles lol.

I really don’t know what was expected this past season with him. We had a number of point guards and new teammates for him to get acclimated to. He wasn’t healthy but showed some major flashes of what he’s capable of when he is.

Are we going to act like he was handed the keys when he arrived? The coach for whatever reason wanted to give Mudiay minutes. Mudiay called his own number while he was on the floor. He drove me crazy. No matter who we played with, he was going to take over especially down the stretch.

I thought DSJ was more team oriented than him by far, but his time was still split. I think an offseason of work and a training camp with his teammates will help make a major difference in his play.

Come on, B.

You telling me he HASN'T been a disappointment?!?!?!?

Real talk...could argue Carlisle was holding him back in Dallas.

DSJ was still playing like boo boo when he was dealt to the Knicks.

Looks like DSJ doesn’t mind coming off the bench if Kyrie/Kemba comes.

At times dsj can be the teams best player, but mudiay is statistically better. That's where there is some concern about his fit moving forward.

I feel like Mudiay was green lit with a longer leash. I thought he was the worst “PG” because he really only looked for his own shot. His defense was horrible too.

I don't think DSJ is the answer but if we do not sign some of the max players or draft Morant we should keep him. He is going to improve naturally so we can just hope he develops.

He's the only PG we have. He's young and cost controlled. Frank hasn't established a position so...even if we get a max cat PG...why would we get rid of DSJ so quick? For AD? That's been the debate for months. I'm not a fan of gutting the team for a 3rd max.

Whatever happens...we're currently in great shape moving forward. Perry has my trust to this point so...it's just a matter of wait and see.

IF we sign max level players I don't agree with keeping him as I don't think he is a good fit on a win-now team. His inefficiency and outside shooting are bad fits with offensive stars.

Part of this is I don't think his shot is close to being reliable, whereas I like the looks of Knox & Franks shots. Meaning i think they require less work to be plus shooters.

Also, I am a fan of gutting the team for a 3rd max. Adding AD to KI & KD? YES PLEASE! I am less inclined if we only sign 1 max, and have no interest in gutting for AD if we get nobody.
