If the raps are chokers, wtf do you call what y’all did in game 6?

Calm down. What does green font mean on this site? Oh and I mean at least Houston lost when both Klay and curry were on the floor. Wasn't Klay on the bench injured at the end?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Golden State wins the next three games, they're that terrifying when they're locked in even without Kevin Durant.

Raptors need far more offensive production from someone other than Kawhi to even have a chance since they can't realistically expect to hold Golden to under 100 points consistently.

Well klay was the better 3 point shooter and that's what made him more efficient tonight. Kawhi struggled from the 3 point line and still had 34 points on 20 shots and 28 possessions, that's still very good.

I dont even care. Im just annoyed that as obsessed as people are with efficiency these days, no one seems to stop and consider that if you shot free throws, its usually because you attempted to use a possession to score. And when we reference shot attempts re: efficiency, what we're really just talking about is possessions used.

TS% does treat free throws as possessions all be it they use a standardized version of it which can be off. So a harden who gets fouled on 3's actually has his TS% understated. So at least normal discussions do tend to account for this.

Right. But this board still puts a focus on shot attempts in those same discussions, with obvious bias toward lower shot attempts, without any regard to free throw attempts basically being shot attempts that arent recorded in the stat sheet. That's all.

I agree that Boogie made more of a difference than I thought he could coming back from that torn quad but Looney literally was in the rotation for the dubs championship run last year and has contributed all playoffs so far this year.

I should rephrase - I meant any other team that is not absolutely madly stacked with talent. The Warriors can get away with it, but no other playoff contender is starting Kevon Looney. They honestly could roll out anyone there. They’ve made several guys look good, but Looney wouldn’t be getting meaningful minutes on another team - warriors are paper thin upfront and have the perimeter guys to negate the drop off upfront

Agreed, and as a Warriors fan the team without KD is ours and without "too many weapons" where you feel expected to win and its a letdown if you don't. The home grown Warriors are such a joy to watch!

Just wonder what narrative would be used then - Raptors with 60 % of their potential and 30% of shooting beat stellar GSW. If anything this game is just encouraging for Raptors and we will see soon enough.

Yeah I'm always encouraged when my team chokes a lead via an 18-0 run to open the 3rd Q. Totally encouraging!!

T
I'm a raptors fan, but I love objective raps fans who don't blame the refs for everything. The Warriors just destroyed us in that opening 3Q and we didn't capitalize on opportunities to pounce on them in the 2nd Quarter. We had plenty of chances in the 4th and just couldn't once again take advantage.

Definitely a tough loss cause it could of easily been a win.

LETS GO RAPS!!

You have no idea how incredibly wrong if not dumb this take is if coming from a neutral standpoint.

Raptors have been down in the series last two rounds vs bucks and vs 76ers. I wouldn't count them out just because it's a tie series and they lost by 5 points despite their second best player being in foul trouble all game, that's a complete overreaction considering this raptors team has overcome adversity over and over again already in the playoffs. In fact, if Klay\Durant are listed as out for game 3 than Raptors should be favorites.

People act like the Warriors don't move the ball when KD plays when they only lead the league in scoring, assists, field goal% and 3 point% with him in the lineup this season. I think their offense is just fine with him and I don't understand any Warriors' fan wanting to have him off the team.

Your Cousins takes are consistently loopy. Looney might do 1 thing better than Cousins defensively. And certainly on offense he's just the sort of basic game roleplayer that a top defensive team has no trouble neutralizing. You know exactly what he can and cannot do.

Reminder that OG Anunoby was active for tonight.

I wonder if we'll see him in the series? Probably not, Powell is playing so well I cant imagine Nurse opening up the rotation. But it would be interesting. He'd be a great option to throw on Curry when FVV isnt out there to guard him.
