series so far:

Kawhi: 40.9mpg, 28.5pts (27.1usg%, 61.5ts%), 16.3ast%, 1.1a/to, 14.1rb%, -1.1nrtg
Curry: 40.5mpg, 28.5pts (26.1usg%, 63.2ts%), 18.8ast%, 2.3a/to, 5.0rb%, +1.8nrtg

both have been great, but Curry just a bit better.

Siakam: 40.3mpg, 22.0pts (20.8usg%, 58.4ts%), 23.8ast%, 5.0a/to, 9.9rb%, -0.6nrtg
Thompson: 35.7mpg, 23.0pts (23.2usg%, 64.3ts%), 14.6ast%, 2.0a/to, 7.5rb%, -3.6nrtg

Klay's been more efficient scoring, but Siakam a bit more impactful overall.

Lowry: 32.0mpg, 10.0pts (17.6usg%, 45.0ts%), 26.8ast%, 2.2a/to, 5.2rb%, -6.0nrtg
Dray: 40.5mpg, 13.5pts (20.1usg%, 51.4ts%), 35.2ast%, 1.7a/to, 12.2rb%, +1.7nrtg

Lowry hasn't showed up yet this series. This matchup has been a big advantage for the warriors. Raps are gonna need more from Kyle to win.

Gasol: 30.6mpg, 13.0pts (16.0usg%, 63.4ts%), 8.1ast%, 1.5a/to, 10.9rb%, +4.0nrtg
Cousins: 17.9mpg, 7.0pts (21.4usg%, 51.8ts%), 36.4ast%, 2.0a/to, 12.2rb%, +15.1nrtg

Gasol has been very good, but Cousins may be starting to look like he could be a difference maker this series if he gets bigger minutes.

Green: 27.7mpg, 9.5pts (14.7usg%, 59.4ts%), 5.7ast%, 0.7a/to, 6.4rb%, -0.9nrtg
Iggy: 28.6mpg, 7.0pts (14.2usg%, 46.7ts%), 31.7ast%, 3.3a/to, 12.2rb%, -3.5nrtg

big shot last night notwithstanding, Iggy's lack of shooting is really hurting the warriors, even with his solid all-around contributions.

VanVleet: 35.6mpg, 16.0pts (18.5usg%, 57.0ts%), 8.9ast%, 1.3a/to, 3.6rb%, +8.8nrtg
Livingston: 16.8mpg, 6.0pts (17.3usg%, 51.0ts%), 25.0ast%, 4.0a/to, 5.5rb%, -5.8nrtg

Fred is just killing it, which has helped keep the raps afloat while kyle struggles.

Ibaka: 16.7mpg, 6.0pts (21.8usg%, 40.3ts%), 4.5ast%, 0.5a/to, 18.6rb%, +4.4nrtg
Looney: 19.4mpg, 4.5pts (9.0usg%, 76.5ts%), 4.0ast%, 0.5a/to, 5.9rb%, -1.0nrtg

Looney is doing his thing. Raps could use some better shooting from serge.

Norm: 12.9mpg, 4.5pts (15.9usg%, 50.7ts%), 9.1ast%, 2.0a/to, 3.8rb%, +25.9nrtg
Cook: 15.3mpg, 7.5pts (15.6usg%, 71.8ts%), 5.9ast%, 0.0a/to, 1.8rb%, -12.8nrtg

Cook's huge shots last night are enough to give him the edge.

Others:

McCaw 6.8mpg, -11.4nrtg

McKinnie 9.1mpg, +4.8nrtg
Bogut 7.2mpg, -31.4nrtg
Jerebko 6.8mpg, -40.7nrtg
Bell 5.9mpg, -6.8nrtg
Evans 0.1mpg, +0.0nrtg

Raps have let the warriors get away with going deep into their bench, even though they've largely been smoked with those guys on the court. That's just letting the warriors off the hook.

TL/DR......KYLE LOWRY has to show up if the Raps want to win this series.

I'm actually changing my vote from GS in 6 to GS in 7 in light of the recent injuries. I really think despite what Klay is saying, this may slow him down and between him and Looney, this is just the type of thing that's going to allow the Raptors to make the series even more competitive.

Warriors just a better team. Injuries and all. I would love for them to finish this in 5. Handle business back home and prepare for a dog fight back in Toronto.

It's what a large portion of the Raptor fanbase is infamous for. You can't seriously expect Warrior fans to ignore reffing when it favors the Raptors.
I'll make you a deal- If complaints by Raptors fans becoming vanishingly small, then I'll stop bringing up bad calls the refs made in the Raptors favor.
You guys should take that deal. Despite all the conspiracy complaints the league doesn't want to see the Warriors win yet another title. The reffing is likely to be either fair(with random bad calls on both sides) or favoring the Raptors.

Really hope so! Ideal scenario is KD never returns, but Warriors start blowing them out every game and win in 5, 6 TOPS. That is likely to send both Kawhi and KD out.

I just want to take a second and shoutout Nick Nurse. I thought the box and 1 strategy was pure genius despite what Curry said. It took the Warriors out of their element and helped the Raps crawl back into the game. The only qualm I really have about his coaching is the use of his timeouts, he likes to use the Phil Jackson 'let them figure it out' approach and it backfired last night.

Welcome to RealGM! I'll do you one better. After game 1, there were some Raptor fans claiming this could be over in 4. :nonono:

After everything that transpired last night, I'm actually now thinking GS in 7 instead of the initial 6 I had predicted.

I wouldn't even say backfired, he did his role, its up to the players to execute. There were ample opportunities and solid looks. Its really all a coach can do.

That 18-0 run wasn't so much the Warriors defense as it was the Raptors just going dead cold. Still a quick timeout coming out of the half would have been nice, you could just tell looking at the Raps body language that something was off.

Your Cousins takes are consistently loopy. Looney might do 1 thing better than Cousins defensively. And certainly on offense he's just the sort of basic game roleplayer that a top defensive team has no trouble neutralizing. You know exactly what he can and cannot do.

Your love of cousins biases you to insane levels. Cousins is a serious defensive liability all that said I'm loving how much effort the guy is playing with and I'm seriously crossing my fingers he doesn't hurt himself.

Against most teams, Cousins turned out to be a liability record wise and Looney was surprisingly effective (relatively speaking). I thought it would be the same against Toronto, but I shouldn't have been surprised that the size GS needed made him particularly useful. What he lacks with speed and foul calls ended up being less significant than what he brought in size against Toronto specifically.

These wild swings are ridiculous. From Toronto in 6 to Golden State in 6 after 1 game? I'm sticking to my original, pre-series prediction of Raps in 7. Raps will adjust as well. Obviously if KD comes back things will be tougher, but if Klay and Looney are out, then things will be easier, even with DMC back

Raps fans, the officiating in the first half was atrocious and it kept GS in the game. But it's definitely not the reason the Raps lost. The 2nd half was abysmal and the team can look to that 18-0 run if they want to know why they lost. The whistle evened out in the 2nd half, but the Raps blew it with extremely poor shooting in the 3rd Q.

Warriors are missing their best player, and last night, their 3rd best had to leave early. No excuses.

I LOVE THIS NARRATIVE!

1. Top 3 Warriors players = Curry, Durant, Green. Then maybe Thompson.

2. Thompson didn’t leave “early”, he played 32 minutes. 3rd most for the Dubs last night.

But keep going my friend.

I actually think he did a poor job. I was really impressed with his coaching game 1. But in game 2 he made bad decisions like keeping key players in with too many fouls (which resulted in Lowry fouling out with almost 4 minutes left on the clock in a tight game). He has enough depth not to keep playing players who rack up 3 fouls in the 1st half. Secondly, I thought he did a bad job during the 18-0 run in the 3rd. He should've called timeout again, recalibrated and drawn up a play for an easy bucket to stop the run. That was devastating to their morale. Let's see how he does in game 3

Referres changed the outcome of the game. They put all the Raptors in foul trouble making them less aggressive.

They also missed the technical when Curry come on to the court to celebrate plus goal tending by thompson on siakam. Add that it changes the outcome.

Nevertheless, Warriors turned on their A game third quarter raptors couldnt contain.
