Both the Celtics and the warriors are gonna bring in Terrance Davis for second workouts.

I’m much higher on Hachimura, Grant Williams and PJ Washington as tweener forwards who can make it in the pros..
Rumor Minnesota made a promise to Rui at 11, FWIW..
His shot blocking doesn't need to translate for him to play good defense in the NBA. It's a good sign regardless.
fwiw I settled on 'healthier if not better' Dante Cunningham' as a comp for for Clarke. It turns out Cunningham's wingspan is also 6'11.
I'm with you on Williams and Washington, and would take both before Clarke. I don't see it with Hach tho, he's a second round pick to me.
Clarke can defend, sure, but the elite shotblocking is where he stands out - his athleticism will still help, but I don’t see him being like Rob Williams or Myles Turner or Bamba where that skill definitely carries over, and I worry his highlight reels keep people from appraising him accurately.
He could be like that guy who played well for Phoenix years ago before he had a serious injury, Zarko Cabarkaba? Cabarkapa - he was running all over the place dunking and got shoved in mid-air by Danny Fortson.. ended up only playing a year or two after that and wasn’t the same..

You think Rui is a second-rounder?

I'm not that high on Clarke--or Gafford.

Not a fan of Rui.
We should consider, despite the attitude issues, KPJ at 20 if he's there. Still pushing for this combos:
14 - Fernando
20 - Herro
22 - Trade back or out
14 - Clarke
20 - Herro
22 - Kabengele
14 - Doumbouya
20 - Thybulle
22 - Kabengele

Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Kabengele it is. NBA DraftNet has the C's taking him at 14.
And for more speculation, Bulls allegedly have a promise to White at 7...
https://dawindycity.com/2019/06/02/chicago-bulls-nba-draft-promise/amp/
Would be utterly stunned if we took him at 14 given that he should be available at 20 or 22.

He’s a second round talent to me. Wings who cant shoot or playmake just arent valuable.

Re: 2019 NBA draft
Im a firm pass on Kabengele. Poor rebounder, doesnt pass, cant shoot and poor finisher at the rim for his size [sub 64%]. I just dont really see him as an impactful player at all at the next level.

Sounds like something of the Marcus Smart profile, but already 23. So are Danny and Brad going for the senior-ready-to-contribute profile over the willing-to-be-stashed approach to too many picks this year? It seems as if either strategy generally leaves them compromising on quality and potential, and thus not really hitting it in the draft.
He does at least sound decent, however, and of course as a combo guard he's already loved by Danny. I'm thinking one of their priorities this year is "tough players", as they have something of a soft roster right now.

Would draft Admiral Schofield with the 51st pick just for his name alone.

I like Jordan Bone as a change-of-pace PG. Very fast and bouncy. Big strides of improvement suggest he's a hard worker. Has the vision and passing thing and can shoot. a bit small and scrawny or he'd be much higher up the charts.
PS Ty Jerome sounds like an interesting option as well: https://airalamo.com/2019/06/03/san-antonio-spurs-nba-draft-ty-jerome/
And Admiral as a 3rd possibility. I don't really see drafting an old wing who still can't shoot especially well (the other guys).

Re: 2019 NBA draft
Not gonna lie, this is the first year where I can't even recognize half of these names. I don't even have a shortlist of guys that I'd want C's to get. Draftexpress guys going under ESPN's paywall sucks.
Can someone make a short list of best shooters in this draft. Not solid, but elite. If there are no high ceiling guys, I think getting our Huerter should be a priority. Someone who can make close to 40% of 3s on a consistent basis.

not worth it. 6 this year is weak and the vet guard you give up will probably be better. I mean, if the suns want a PG that bad and the Pelicans don't want smart, you could try and give smart and a pick to the Suns for 6 to the Pelicans....
If not for a trade for an all star, we shouldn't be looking at the Suns.

Herro, Dylan Windler, Cam Johnson, Kyle Guy, Zack Norvell, Carsen Edwars come to mind of names in the draft.
Although only Windler, Guy and Guy were >40 shooters. Reddish should be in the mix if it wasn't for his pathetic season.
Edit: Keldon Johnson shot 38% versus to 35% for Herro, but I trust more Tyler's shot translating. Also the difficulty and volume of herro's were higher. Reddish was at 33% at 7.4 attempted per game.

Hmmmm... Celtics or Lakers could send Smart or Ball to the Suns for an extra Lottery Pick in the AD Sweepstakes.
