At 12, I'm liking either Clarke, Washington, or Alexander-Walker. Would only choose Clarke if Kemba is staying since he is a low upside player.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Clarke is basically Courtney Lee. His jumpshot looks like his, he is going to have to play SF in the nba.

It’s a hard pass for me, probably means this is who we pick.

i feel like this doesnt sound like brandon clarke at all...Clarke is a small center at the very least PF. he doesnt have the offense skill set to play SF

Givony's latest mock has Jaxson Hayes as the only center being taken in the lottery and he has Charlotte taking Rui Hachimura at 12.

I really want this team to try to trade back into the 1st round to try to get Goga Bitadze, or maybe even Claxton/Kab. I also like some of the wing/guard options in the mid 1st to early 20s range, like NAW, Romeo Langford, and Taylen Horton-Tucker.

This draft is top heavy and pretty meh in the mid to late lottery, but has a lot of depth in the mid to late 1st. I wouldn't even mind trading back in this draft, which I'm usually against, even in addition to using some future asset to add a pick. This team needs as many guys contributing on rookie scale contracts as soon as possible if they are going to build around Kemba's incoming massive contract. They should try to come out of this draft with three guys with mid 1st round grades.

I don't hate Rui as a pick, but here are some picks after that in the mock.

13. PJ Washington
14. Brandon Clarke
18. NAW
20. Bol Bol
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Nick Alexander-Walker - Two Walkers are better than One!

Romeo Langford - His bounty is as boundless as the sea.

Bol Bol - Sell my soul for Bol Bol!

Nassir Little - Here for Nassir!

Brandon Clarke - A shot in the dark for Clarke!

Jaxson Hayes - Cooler than your average Jackson!

PJ Washington - Washington to Charlotte Express!

I don't know what to make of Rui. I dont like the age and I don't know the story of why he was such a late bloomer, but he does kind of remind me of Siakam. I still think I'd rather trade back and get NAW/Langford + Goga.

Edit: I was only able to find the lottery mock. Do you know any more of the picks? I'm curious where he had Goga and Langford.

I like the one for Naw.

Romeo Langford- Where art thou jumpshot?

Jaxson Hayes- Better shoot J’s against Hayes

P.J- Kentucky? They all can’t be busts, Right?

Clarke- The Japanese guy? No, the short one.

Nasir- Future MVP... of the allstar game.

Bol Bol- A 7 year old’s drawing of KD

Cam Reddish- I Call Backseat!! Future 3rd option.

Kevin Porter Jr.- The less efficient James Harden

Rui- Skills so Raw, call him Sushi

I’m trying to think of one for Tacko and it’s difficult. These are corny but here goes. Maybe someone can make a slight adjustment. I feel a lot can be done with his last name.

“At 36 it sticks, If Tacko Falls the Hornets call!”

“The Hornets are all in for Tacko to fall to them”

“Tacko Falls, the Hornets call”

Wait, Bruno Fernando was back again today, did he never leave? Why is he still here?
