its NOT about the total number of fouls it's about the TIMING of them and you KNOW THIS!!! YOU KNOW THIS!!!!!
THEY TOOK FOULED US UP HAPHAZARDLY IN THE FIRST TWO QUARTERS WITH NO REMORSE. WE COULDNT PLAY DEFENSE IN THE SECOND HALF BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS ABOUT TO BE FOULED OUT!! HOW DO YOU NOT REALIZE THIS?!?!?! IS FIFTEEN FOULS IN THE FIRST HALF THE SAME AS FIFTEEN FOULS IN THE SECOND HALF TO YOU?!?!?!

Exactly neglect all the poor foul calls that took raptors out the flow and gave GS momentum in the first two quarters.

I actually think he did a poor job. I was really impressed with his coaching game 1. But in game 2 he made bad decisions like keeping key players in with too many fouls (which resulted in Lowry fouling out with almost 4 minutes left on the clock in a tight game). He has enough depth not to keep playing players who rack up 3 fouls in the 1st half. Secondly, I thought he did a bad job during the 18-0 run in the 3rd. He should've called timeout again, recalibrated and drawn up a play for an easy bucket to stop the run. That was devastating to their morale. Let's see how he does in game 3

Tbf Lowry’s fouled out of both games and no one would tell Kyle to gamble on that 6th foul in the back court. That was just straight up dumb and low probability play anyway.

Sometimes with Lowry it's like all his playoff experience counts for nothing. How do you foul out with such a dumb play in a finals game?

I think he's pretty smart. He's elite at drawing fouls for one

Durant- Probably out for the series.
Klay- Out for game 3 and hampered the rest of the series.
Looney- Out for the series.
Iguodala- Still somewhat injured.
That's 4 of the Warriors top 6 players and their depth is a mirage based on the stars making the role players look much better than they really are.

We've reached the point that the Raptors have absolutely zero excuses not to win.
Either Curry/Green are easily the GOAT duo in NBA history or the Raptors are total chokers if they lose. Pretty much all the more moderate positions have been eliminated.

I know right. I was actually half rooting for the Raptors as underdogs and how it would bring at least a little bit of parity back to the NBA, but after reading some of the posts here I hope they now get destroyed.

There are a handful of good fans as we've seen here, but I've never seen such a large majority of them being so obnoxious... they're even worse than, dare I say it, some Laker fans.

I have literally never seen anyone say their team got robbed and blame the loss on some calls in the first half where they were up and then had calls go mostly in their favour in the final minutes.

keep in mind that they have the biggest fan base on realgm, look at the number of posts/threads, so theyre gonna have more idiots. also, getting owned by lebron 3 yrs in a row can do a number on one's psyche. And I dont want to be armchair psychologist but whining/insulting = insecurity, we got a lot of insecure nephews because this franchise has had some massive choking in recent years. it is what it is its sports

This one. Of course no one is willing to risk their credibility to come out and say it. But I'll say it.
Durant was supposed to miss a week.
It's been a month now and there are still no signs of real progress.
If Durant was about to come back he would at least be practicing. Durant not only hasn't practiced, but isn't even wearing shoes- aka, he's so far from returning that he isn't even willing to test the injury. Maybe a miracle will happen in the next few days, but the safe bet is that Durant will miss the entire series or return as a spot up shooter only.

It is pretty funny that the "Kawhi me a river" crowd is whining like this.

I miss when Rapsfans complaining about refs and Stern's great conspiracy was an absurd comedy. The crying is way too real.

Crazy that they still have Curry, Green, Iggy and Boogie. Show how stack of a team they are, just insane.

I don't see Kd coming back for game 4, hes not even doing light drills. In the video, Kd can't even do a regular jump shot, he did a push shot without using his legs. He's done for the series.

He fouled out to reduce his minutes and allow himself to rest. I'm not sure why Pop gets praised for managing his stars' minutes but Lowry is criticized for taking initiative and managing his own minutes.

Curry and Green I'll give you... but Iggy and Boogie? Sure they stepped up, but they are NOT better players than Lowry, Siakam and Gasol. Heck I'll even take FVV from time to time. It just so happened that Iggy and Boogie both stepped up and none of the Raptors did, other than Kawhi who did his thing.

The warriors had to play Andrew Bogut ffs lol and everyone was calling Cousins washed up and will end up harming them more than helping them.

The Warriors have the better team but not necessarily all the better players. This is where Steve Kerr shines. Also, they have the stronger mentality... but to call them "stacked" at this stage is asinine. If KD and Klay both come back healthy and Cousins continue to get better, then yeah they're definitely stacked. But right now, they are FAR from stacked.

It is what Raps fans started mocking the Bucks with during their series. I think it blew up after they complained about Drake so Drake wore that hoodie

Plus, in important 4th quarter plays, Kawhi drops his shoulder into Draymond, then travels. Gets the shot and one. Please stop with the refs favoring the Warriors. I forget how annoying I must be complaining about the refs going the other way until I read the Raptors complaining after watching the same game. Selective anecdotes.

Not to mention Raptors went to the line 26 vs Warriors 22, and Lowry fouled out b/c he's not the brightest crayon in the box. 5 fouls and you risk the 6th by slapping Cousins when he's twice your size?

Personally thought that the Raps have received huge favorable no calls of defense both games, especially in the 1st half. Cant see how Raps can complain. That 4th Q was nonstop help, including an incredible tech, a foul on Curry to steal, followed by Van tripping on his own feet a loose ball call on Curry.

I promised my wife to not complain about it though. I saw this as a double digit blowout without all the favorable interpretations. The post above reminds me of the Rockets video....I cant see how Raps can blame the refs for all their missed shots. They got every kind of help, including a jump ball violation, which almost never happens. An overturned out of bounds that wasnt unquestionably wrong by any means (looked like ball changed rotation as it brushed Gasols arm). Curry getting 'physical' defense almost every possession, multiple times, Siaka & Gasol pushing dubs to ground and out of bounds on rebounds. I could make 20 examples, if I wanted to go there.

It is my resolution to make this my last post ever about refs. It is entertainment and the league often instructs the refs in a way that can help or hurt team chances. Part of the game, I guess. Clearly the instructiins include the ABC team, which seem to be seeing a different reality (and hate GS with a passion, never bothering to hide it most the time). Hit your shots and it doesnt matter is the way i plan to go from now on.

lol even bill simmons called out the refs in his podcast for their favorable whistle for the warriors and he's hardly a homer.

so tf what, no one thinks the raps lost this game due to refs. They lost due to going 12 straight posessions without scoring including no fg's and 5 to's. but but but but but but refs sounds trashy.

I'm sure if your honest you know more than a few GS fans back in 2015 who were quite happy when both Love and Kyrie got hurt missed the finals and you won the championship in 6 games. When a franchise or a whole city goes decades without winning a championship they just want their win, they're not picky about how they get it.

I am being honest; not sure why you think I am being dishonest. You don't have to remind me about going decades without winning - when the Dubs won in 2015 as you referenced, it had been 40 years since our last title. And that includes the dark years with your namesake playing for us (we called him Joe Barely Cares). Wanting to win is not an excuse to be a bad human being. I am not rooting for Kawhi to get hurt and miss the rest of the series. I want both teams to be healthy and play....and then I want my team to win!

And since you didn't read my post very carefully since you made assumptions about my honesty, I did not post anything about the 2015 series at all.

I don't think there are many fans who want to see an opposing player get seriously hurt (except for maybe Draymond Green :) ). However, if you ask most fans if they would rather lose the series or win with the opposing team enduring some injuries like pulled hamstrings and tweaked Achilles tendons I think 90+% would say that they would take the win and opposing team's injuries.

Maybe you are the exception to the rule...

You mean Kawhi he the real one collecting bodies out there
