If we have money to pursue Morris, then that means we may be expecting to trade for AD into cap space, and not signing a third MAX player.

So Morris is either a backup in case we don't get Kyrie, or Pills knows Kyrie isn't coming.

I think Morris is a backup in case we cant land AD and Rosier is a backup in case we cant land Kyrie. This goes back to those initial reports weeks ago about us having interest in them two

For any moves that the KNICKS make over the next few months, don't discount the possibility that those moves are sanctioned by KD. They're working WITH him and not against him. Also, this is a puzzle. It may not make sense until all pieces are in place.
