The unintended benefit of my laziness ...

A couple of months ago I bought an ESPN Plus subscription so that I could watch a soccer game. I had intended to cancel it immediately after but I kept delaying it and forgetting. Two months later it's still active and I just realized that this grant me access to all of the Hidden ESPN Insider draft content. So I guess I'll keep it for another month.

Jon g wrote an article today about the draft rumors and discussions. Says that we should expect a very unpredictable draft with a lot of Trades due to the uncertainty of the medical conditions of so many players. Teams are getting upset at players and agents with holding their medical records as leverage to steer them into their preferred destinations. Says we should expect us to come up in the next collective bargaining process. The Hawks and Suns are rumored to be shopping there picks.

Wasn't much info on specific players or teams. I'll post anything that is relevant over the next few weeks.

Are a few guys who went back to school, probably a lot more in your rankings as well.

Hard to take these serious when you have Zion the third ranked power forward and Morant 8th best PG.

I do like a few guys you have rated high in Roby and Bone, but I feel like you are way off on a lot. How did your rankings turn out last year?

Even harder to take seriously when over the past 6 months he’s named pretty much every player in the entire draft on his “watch list”!!

Nothing like throwing the largest net you can find into the smallest pond to try and catch a fish!

Thanks for the updates (as far as who has removed themselves from the draft) I often neglect to do so.

My draft last year has yet to be rated.
I wanted Zhiarre Smith and YuTa Watanabe and I wanted to invite Theo Pinson to camp.
Zhiarre got injured and YuTa spent most of the year along with Theo in G league.

I rated Toni Carr as the best PG available.
(he got drafted but I believe he removed himself from the team to play overseas for whatever weird reason).
So far I would honestly make the same selections as I made a year ago and draft those same players.

As for choosing quite a few on my "watch list" it actually isn't so much of trying to choose many in hopes of catching one
because the odds are actually against me since most of the players I tend to promote arent even considered draft picks on
most mocks...

The players I choose usually have the deck stacked against them because by going "undrafted" the chances of them even making
a team are almost non existent, but that doesn't necisarily mean they COULDN'T do so under fair-er curcumstances
(meaning actually being given a fair chance by a coach.)

Finally zion is a good prospect but imo he is overrated. He doesn't have a great jumper, and not great size.

I would take him over most if I had the first pick but I would do so more due to pressure rather than thinking he will be great.
As for reddish, I rated him where he played imo. He dissappeared in most games and most the season. I saw potential but nothing
to not shockingly warrent a low prediction as far as his career goes.

Oh and it's not so much of me adding lots of players on MY watchlist, it's also or moreso to (make-aware) of what could be outthere for us for my fellow fans to see... At draft time I will narrow my picks to the selected slots and end up with 3 (or how ever many we end up with) and make my selections as I did last year with Zhairre and YuTa

Being completely objective, that’s probably the only thing he got right.

Not in this draft class

I'm just not a Reddish fan at all. I think he's gonna be a major bust.

Besides, I think B.J. Taylor just feels like a HORNET lol. I can only see him in Charlotte, San Antonio or Chicago. (Of course none of that matters). But I truly think if someone gives him a shot they will be getting a STEAL. I surely hope we do. He would fit in well with a city like Charlotte.

A true point guard

Something about him feels right for this franchise

This I believe with all my heart...

MJ will force Mitch to draft Carsen Edwards. It might not be at 12, but he will end up on our team, either at 36 or a trade up from there. He's the NCAA tourney hero that our franchise seems to always pick.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

Yesterday I posted my last depth chart before draft day and this will be my last (who I would take if fell to us) list before draft day. I have had our first selection down to 3 players for a while now. I have since trimmed who I want us to take with the other two selections. Litterally overnight I have become quite a fan of Joshua Obiesie. I have known about him for a while and was not impressed at all. For some reason I see a potential star in him and his game. Welp this is my list of who I want us to take if fell to us. I doubt highly it will change before draft day much if at all on my end.

PICK 1
Jarrett Culver
Luka Samanic
Jalen McDaniels

-----
PICK 2
Joshua Obiesie
B.J. Taylor
Deividas Sirvydis

-----
PICK 3
Isaiah Roby
Jaylen Hoard
Josh Reaves
Jordan Bone
Kerwin Roach

There is a zero percent chance this is true.

Good idea or bad idea to give the Wizards their 2nd back in exchange for moving up to take Coby White? Or is the difference between him and NAW small enough to not warrant that?

Lmao, it acutally was true, I was done with my list until draft day, but when I saw your "There is a zero percent chance this is true" I felt why not update :P . I just added some back in some I had in before and moved Obiesie up. I would consider Obesie for our first pick. Maybe even over Mcdaniels (due to his possible offcourt situation). This list hasn't changed much. Been these players for a bit now. Especially for my top 3. Other than that I am still considering Zylan Cheatham and Darius Bazley again for our 2nd, 2nd pick but right now he's out.

PICK 1
Jarrett Culver
Luka Samanic
Jalen McDaniels
Joshua Obiesie - Imo he has lottery potential
-----
PICK 2
B.J. Taylor
Deividas Sirvydis
Isaiah Roby
Terrence Mann
-----
PICK 3
Vanja Marinkovic
V.J. King
Jordan Bone
Kerwin Roach
Ayo Dosunmu
