Not after missing the travel call, can’t compound it more by giving a FT too

You check out the replay? No way he took 3 steps after picking up the ball.

I did not, if it shows he didn’t, then that’s fine, but in real time, I’m thinking I missed a call as a ref. It’s not the steps though, it’s up and down that was my concern

Ref could easily have called a push foul.

He let them play instead.

Siakam has been trash, Lowry has been the MVP

Ibaka might get the igu award if he can carry over this play and get more minutes

Saw the replay, after he actually caught the all he didn't even take 2 steps let alone 3 steps. Not even close to a travel.

He left the ground to get through the trap and landed before he passed. That's how I saw it live.

Ah up and down, yeah that was close. I feel like the people calling for a travel think he took too many steps though.

Got ya. There was a comment he may have been pushed so I don't know. I of course don't remember a push lol

I'm not even sure he travelled but he was fouled before that so...

On that, you are correct, there was some foiling prior to the pass

Exactly...their luck ran out. Warriors fans weren't feeling sorry for the Cavs when they lost Kyrie/Love...or for the Rockets when CP3 was out for game 6 & 7.

No one even mentions the Warriors having Curry and Durant miss multiple playoff games between 2015-2018 for Curry and 2017-2018 for Durant. Not to mention the collection of games Iguodala has missed. Other than 2015 with the Cavs, I’ve never seen the Warriors play a team with 2/4 of their best players missing.

Warriors fans forgetting they were gifted a championship because of Cavs injuries? Hmm..

Yeah lol, or that series with the Spurs with Leonard getting sideswiped by Pachulia, lol! These Dub fans need to refresh their memories.

It's a impressive level of selective memory.

I have no doubt they are the favorite if KD comes back but to act like the victim because luck finally caught up with them .. well not sure if its funny..or pathetically sad

Not if the refs knew not to count the steps while he was still dribbling lol

Yes it's a team game and Curry's teammates were nowhere to be found. They could not hit open shots, they couldn't make lay-ups, they turned the ball over and they didn't make up for it by playing some great defense.

The Raptors play well when Kawhi's not in ISO mode because they have good players who can play on and off the ball.

I would like to highlight that I had a discussion in some thread about Curry and Durant a while back where I was arguing that while Curry is a very good and impactful offensive player, you can’t just stick Curry and any 4 random bench guys and get great offense, and I can’t remember who it was, but they kept trying to argue that this was indeed what would happen. It wasn’t random bench guys, Draymond was still there, etc, and it is one game, but tonight with Curry scoring 47 is an example of why it isn’t just that simple. Open shots still need to be made, defensive talent still matters and helps to win games.

Dray aside, 109 against the raptors (who when they are locked in are a really good defense) is pretty decent at the least and to your point there were missed open shots and Curry didn't play 48.

It puts it into perspective. It’s been Curry vs Raptors for 5/12 quarters. Nothing to rave on about.

Exactly my thoughts. The whinings and 'i am not interested in this' comments are so bitter. I take a bow for Curry but most importantly huge credits to Toronto. Really solid in the end.

This game was not even close, it was like raptors were toying with them all game. Warriors better hope Klay or KD come back or this one is ending in 5.

Agreed, some players get a lot of excuses made for them that other players don't get......

Curry is the goat shooter...but he has had major help with klay...Draymond...kd...
Put lillard on the warriors I don’t see much of a change...
I might be going extreme but even kyrie Kimba and trae young with experience...will yield somewhat the same success
Golden state is an incredibly built team for scoring point guards

Kemba would yield the same results? Sad how how much of a joke this board can be at times. It’s truly incredible how often one of the great all-time players is disrespected around here.

The guy commands everyone’s attention at all times. A **** box and 1 in an NBA finals game. Is constantly moving setting screens or getting open or just creating a gravitational pull towards him that teammates are left with vastly higher percentage looks... not to mention how lethal he is from beyond the arc, or from the line, or anytime he puts the ball up or on the ground for that matter with his dribble. and yet here he is being **** normalized with Kemba Walker and Trae **** Young with experience.

Lordy.
