Incredible efficiency by Kawhi today. He and fellow Spur Danny turned it up 2 notches on D today as well. Klay needs to get up or it’s going back to Toronto for the close out.

Lol espn and their screen stats minus any D stats.

Must be nice still finding ways to bring up that bum that’s sitting on the couch. He won’t be in the Finals for a long time so why even mention him..

Especially when Kawhi beat him for his first championship with the Spurs

slice it how you want. 2 quarters out of 12 ain't much.

When Klay got injured in game 2, Warriors went like 5 minutes without scoring and Raptors went on a 10-0 run before Iggy's shot. Tonight Warriors offense looked terrible. Klay is actually starting to show what he means to this dynasty as a lot of people take him for granted. Kawhi was still the best player on the floor tonight, he made his teammates better and Curry was more worried about strictly scoring.

how about when Curry double dribbled at the 3 point line just before this? we can do this all night long. For every bad call against the Warriors, I can find a bad call against the Raptors.

The Raptors play well when Kawhi's not in ISO mode because they have good players who can play on and off the ball.

I would like to highlight that I had a discussion in some thread about Curry and Durant a while back where I was arguing that while Curry is a very good and impactful offensive player, you can’t just stick Curry and any 4 random bench guys and get great offense, and I can’t remember who it was, but they kept trying to argue that this was indeed what would happen. It wasn’t random bench guys, Draymond was still there, etc, and it is one game, but tonight with Curry scoring 47 is an example of why it isn’t just that simple. Open shots still need to be made, defensive talent still matters and helps to win games.

Dray aside, 109 against the raptors (who when they are locked in are a really good defense) is pretty decent at the least and to your point there were missed open shots and Curry didn't play 48.

It’s not bad, but it was with Curry scoring 47 points and playing 43 minutes. We were discussing multiple games over a season where I would not expect Curry to play 43 mpg or average 40+ ppg. That’s why people need to avoid going overboard with their claims.

It puts it into perspective. It’s been Curry vs Raptors for 5/12 quarters. Nothing to rave on about.

nnobody is saying that the raps would dominate a healthy warriors team.

But fact is they have been pretty dominant against this version of the Warriors, and the warriors are prrtty lucky not to be heading into an elimination game on Friday.

I did not, if it shows he didn’t, then that’s fine, but in real time, I’m thinking I missed a call as a ref. It’s not the steps though, it’s up and down that was my concern

Not if the refs knew not to count the steps while he was still dribbling lol

Well that’s no problem, it didn’t think it was too many steps. My thought was that he jumped in the air, then his foot hit the ground before he released the ball to pass.

That's fair but I'm not sure this isn't what we'd routinely see from Curry minus the minutes and I'm not sure his teammates wouldn't play better...though I'm still of the opinion Cousins is worse than a random bench guy.

His first foot landed clearly before the ball was released. I can't tell when the back foot landed but it seems like it was before the pass as well, but the back foot is harder to be sure about.

This version of the Warriors would be lucky to sniff the playoffs in the West. Green’s offensive ability is highly dependent on both Curry/Klay’s presence and spacing.

Do you realize that because they have those other 2 All NBA players the bench is depleted?

Its basically Curry, Green and scrubs out there.

Huge asterisk win for the Raps

Oh, c'mon! Most teams would kills to have Steph, Dray and Cousins level talent with former all star vets like Iggy and then guys like Bogut and Livingston as role players. This is a 50 win team in another era.

Curry deserves better. I don't care how depleted we were, that was embarrassing on both ends.

Helps when you can break players collar bones and get two fouls, and swat balls off the backboard.

But still, amazingly good shooting night from Toronto. Super unsustainable, but amazing.

Alfonzo fouled kawhi before that, then he didn't travel, then fvv hit a shot where HE WAS FOULED. Also right before this curry did the most blatant up and down and then elbowed lowry in the chest for the jump ball. ALSO right before that green got called for a foul on a scramble in the exact same salutation giving him more free points. STAAAHP!
