I hate Rose's game and his romantic comeback stories.

He had a nice bounce back. Now some of the off the court stuff would make me feel a little icky rooting for the dude in a suns uni.Saberestar wrote:
Not sure if Derrick Rose is a serious option for us, but I would love it. The guy has heart and can score.
I think that he is gonna sign with the Bulls, they need a PG too and obviously he coming back would be a nice story.
His next contract is probably longer than the last one. He can get $20M / 2 years.

I think I would prefer Collison or Beverley at 2/20 than Rose. Even Wolfley knows the drill (unlike Douglice and Gambo) - get a VETERAN PG - and take BPA in the draft. Doug wants the Cavs and who is picking 5 to take Wings so the Suns can get PG. Wolf is like - take BPA and sign a veteran.

Well, yeah I am not sure if I want him over those PGs for the same contract.
I talked about him because Ashley Nevel tweeted about him, but a few minutes later she deleted that tweet.

IDK what happened, but it opens some speculation about Rose probably being on our radar.

Such a mixed feeling on Rose. From a pure basketball perspective he could make sense especially if his recent 3pt shooting is for real. Plus there's a chance if he doesn't get hurt again he could start to look more explosive the further away from the knee injuries he gets.Saberestar wrote:BobbieL wrote:WeekapaugGroove wrote:He had a nice bounce back. Off the court stuff, while he wasn't convicted of the sexual assault that whole story has a real bad look.

I think the Suns should pass on Derrick "We men" Rose. That's not the kind of guy you want on a young impressionable roster.

For 30 games until we go back to complaining about Melton/Okobo playing PG for the other 50.

This is most likely what's going to happen. People wont be happy, but it's the most likely and safest scenario. I hope i'm wrong, but there are way to many pieces that need to fall into place for us to truly do something significant.

I actually think fans will be okay if they don’t trade up for say Ja and just take the best player and get PG in free agency.
I have nothing against Ja Garland or White except they will be rookie PGs. I think the team needs a veteran

Re: Free agency and trade ideas: Which wings do we go after this summer?
I don't think the plan is to start anyone they draft at 6. Where is could alter their plan is if they do grab one of those PGs I would expect they go with a less expensive option as a vet PG like the Corey Joseph type range vs paying someone else like 3-30. In that scenario they probably spend heavier on a PF. But some of this is free flowing because I definitely could see them trading some combination of Warren Jackson Melton, okobo, bucks pick to for a vet PF or PG.BobbieL wrote:asudevil wrote:BobbieL wrote:

Hawks taking on Crabbe - so there goes the idea of trading with the Hawks . Hawks get the 17th pick too

Nice haul for Atlanta to take a year of Crabbe. Brooklyn is now fully in the add two max FA land.

That only gives them 1 max slot if they plan on re-signing Dlo, maybe another trade coming, like Dinwiddie to us....
