Don't know which of us can persuade Danny Ainge first, but I'm a no on Bol, a no on Clarke, ok on Johnson and mostly positive on Washington.
I go Hachimura, PJ, Grant Williams for undersized skilled power forwards. So Washington wouldn't be my first choice - on paper he could be good - strength, length, perimeter shooting - but he doesn't pass the eye test for me, my gut says he'll struggle against bigger defenders. I might actually have Williams ahead of him - Grant looks a little bit like Clarence Weatherspoon, although I'd be surprised if he rebounded at his clip - he looks like he can be a small ball 4 and should have the foot speed to guard small forwards on the perimeter. He also oozes instincts and basketball IQ - and looks completely unfazed in college when he's up against taller defenders. Muggsy Bogues had a long career..
Clarke is fool's gold imo - extra large crow in the kitchen if I'm wrong - but he doesn't have the offensive skill of Hachimura, Washington or Williams, he's likely to be a high-energy small forward - maybe a poor man's Kirilenko, before he started scoring - except Kirilenko had a 7'4" wingspan, Siakam's is 7'3".. that's 7, 8 inches.
Keldon Johnson is a gamble, like all of the shooting guards past the top 3 (Barrett, Culver, Reddish). NAW might be too slow, Herro might be too slow, Thybulle might not be able to shoot, Langford, like Porter, has a ton of question marks.
Keldon at least looks like he has raw talent to iron out. I'd gamble on Horton-Tucker, personally - but Keldon has lottery upside, could be just shy of all-star if he gets it right.
