A lot of people are forgetting that Curry/Klay/Draymond won 6 games in a row against the Rockets & Blazers....and they're 7-1 in their last 8 games together.

funny how before the finals, people were saying Raptors would be lucky to win a game...but now that they've won 2 all of a sudden it's not legit because KD isn't playing...what happened to all the 73 win Warriors talk?

I'm assuming this is sarcasm b/c he's cocky and a smart ass, but he actually is pretty quick witted and he manages his investments well outside of the NBA. You don't have to be eloquent to be smart, and I'd trust his analyses over Chuck's any day of the week. I think volume and overconfidence is the number one commentator requirement Skkiiip, and he's got that down.

Plus, with ball movement playing such a big role in modern NBA, he has some good insight about the most effective ways to maintain team first strategies.

So klay is coming back game 4, this is pretty much 2016 finals all over again. Warriors have one of their big 3 miss a game (klay in 2019 and dray in 2016). Cousins actually had a good game so he's not a complete worthless piece of crap like harrison Barnes was. Kawhi beating warriors in 2019 = LeBron beating warriors in 2016 except kawhi had a way tougher eastern conference road. Kawhi is 2 wins away from matching the only LeBron title with any substance behind it.

No sarcasm whatsoever! I do like him way more outside the basketball court (despite the fact that I respect his game) and would like to see him more once his playing career is over.

Don’t give af about ratings personally, and Toronto’s TV ratings make up for it, but it does show the power of Lebron tbh.

Going in on Raps in five at +500 (hopefully will be able to afford plenty of tissues to deal with the Raps winning).

Has Draymond Green ever fouled anyone in his mind?

I swear every time a foul is called on him he throws the biggest tantrum. He's lucky the refs have been very lenient with him in the Finals. It almost feels as if the league office sent the refs a memo encouraging them to allow the players to vent a little more given what's at stake. Because a number of Draymond's antics would have been technicals during the regular season. He usually gets T'd up for much less than what he's doing in the Finals.

What people overlook about this Raptors team is they can play any style that's called for. They can play fast or slow and have multiple options to go big or small. Those Bucks and Sixers series were ugly 90's battle it out in the half court type games. This series against the Warriors has been fast paced and launching a ton of 3's. They find ways to win playing either way.

People focus a lot on the Warriors offense lacking fire power, but they have been getting absolutely shredded defensively. Aside from a couple 6 minute stretches, they have not been able to stop the Raptors at all. Even with a fully healthy Warriors team, this is a Toronto team that matches up well with them and would still be able to hang. There's also a reason why you still play the games, the best team on paper doesn't always win.

I hope this ain’t another 3-1 comeback in the Finals because right now I can’t see the Warriors winning tomorrow night with just Klay who won’t be nowhere close to 100%.

I’m not a doctor but a hamstring injury is much worse than a calf injury.. if you ask me something is going on behind the scenes with KD & the Warriors..

I don’t want to hear that “coming back against a physical defense is not smart” gibberish, if that’s the case than Klay shouldn’t be coming back tomorrow & hell you could’ve played him last night if that’s the case.. CP3 along with numerous players were out months with that same injury Klay got, also even though Durant can be explosive his game relies heavily on jump shooting.. You’re telling me that a calf injury can affect that guys shot?? Dangerous game the Warriors are playing just like last night smh

I would speculate that a majority of the younger audience would be watching via illegal streams - no young person is buying/ paying for cable.

The start time of these games is also killer

In a way but also it shows the power of narratives created by ESPN "experts". Majority of these "fans" who are missing watching the Finals are really not fans and don't understand the game. I could care less!

LeBron would be getting way more single coverages than kawhi does from Steve Kerr. If kawhi was defended like LeBron was against warriors, he would be scoring 60 points every game. Kerr just feared lebrons playmaking more I think.

Warriors have made a record for most injury updates during a finals.

Good grief.

Not to mention screaming AND ONE!!!!!!!!!! at the top of his lungs any time he makes a lay-up. It's a joke that he doesn't get T'd it. The candid truth is, he knows he will get away with it because if the refs officiated him like everyone else, he'd get tossed in the first half of every single game.

Could also be the fact that Warriors are so banged up. People want to see KD and Klay out there.

TV ratings are archaic in this day and age. You shouldn't worry about them too much.

This has been the most enjoyable finals in a while. Toronto and the depleted Warriors are playing very fine two-way team basketball. Screw the Ratings.

Lebron vs the Warriors was such a soap opera drama fest with funky referee gimmes and BS hero 3P shots.

Obviously Raptors are 1 all-star short of making it a somewhat competitive series against a 100% Warriors team, with the injuries playing a factor, it's been nice seeing a competitive team game from both sides.

For all their injuries, I still think the Warriors have the most comically deep roster in the NBA by a landslide. Credit to them, they drafted and signed well. And their coaching staff and structure is great. I wouldn't scoff at anybody on that team. Even guys like Looney have become good contributors (who btw is actually a subtle hit for a team that's missing Durant and has Cousins hobbled).
