We just got the 17 pick. I'm assuming we are targeting with it Brandon Clarke?

Me prediction is trade 8 and 10 for Barrett and use 17 on Bruno Fernando.

is there any indication that the hawks want bruno? People here def love him. In any case, interesting, def some kind of trade in the works (with all those picks).

Pelicans get: Collins/8/10/17

Hawks get: 1st (Zion) Julius Randle

Wouldn’t happen but would you?

Hershel Walker style deal but Zion would be a rookie but still.

Hawks worked him out last year before he decided to go back to school. There was an article a few days ago. We worked him out again this year.

Just secure Reddish and Hayes at this point. # 10 & 17 gives us a lot of flexibility to do that. I guess if Hayes was gone before 8, then Bruno could then take the spotlight. Since we traded TP, I would only assume we're going with 1 wang for sure, so it really comes down to pick your wang of choice.

Could honestly see us stay pat and go with Reddish/Little, and use 17 on Goga. So may options now.

I wonder how this all plays out. Personally I'm still on the Cam bandwagon and would just take him at 8 or possibly trade up for him if another team threatens to take him.. depends on the deal though, of course.

When some of y'all list the picks it looks like August 10, 2017.….lol

I think we're smart to presume this is just the first shoe to drop, and Schlenk's not done dealing... remembering he's anxious to shrink his number of 2019 draft slots, not add.

But if the draft was tonight...

8: Reddish
10: Bouya or Bol, whichever WAS doesn't draft
17: Bruno

35: Okpala
41: Thybulle
42: Jerome

Yeah, yeah, I know... that second round is pure fantasy, but why not dream just a little. :)

Did Bruno ever make a shot that wasn't a dunk? The dunks look great but you don't get an extra point for style.

This helps...(just posting what I just read to answer you question)
Strengths: A high level run jump athlete at the center position ... Explosive finisher and alley-oop target, with great bounce, especially off of two feet ... Very solid touch and shooting ability for a big ... Shows excellent form and touch shooting the ball (a career 75% ft shooter) ... Has become a load on the block ... Has excellent footwork in the post with solid ability to establish position and seal his man for jump hooks and drop steps ... Has a developing turn around hook shot over his left shoulder ... Possesses excellent hands, showing an ability to catch entry passes and make plays with the ball without having to focus any attention to it ..... At times his play evokes memories of Hakeem Olajuwon with his spin moves and baby hooks.

I understand, but it's really not any fault to have the footwork/mobility and hops to be able to get to the rim and cash in as much as he did.

And to answer your question, yes. He did. He just had a LOT of opportunities around the rim.

By the way.... NO, Spud, I did NOT write the bio sketch for NBADraft.net... and YES, I'm not the only one obviously who detects some Olajuwon in this kid, if not a lot of that. ( )

I wouldn't even take NoNeck aka G. Williams as an UDFA. I'd take Scofield in round 2 though. Even Bone.

Here you'll find some spin moves, hooks, floaters, and 3-pointers. I also see shades of The Dream, but only if Bruno SHATTERS his ceiling:
