Great season, grats to the finalist and to Dallas. Would've be heartbreaking to lose back to back finals like that.

I lost Simmons in the ECF-semi’s so I was surprised to even make it this far. Thank you to Bish for running an amazing season. I’m hoping someone can set him up with a nice gift. It won’t be me this time. (cap?? Or KOC?)

Also, shoutout to Trey Burke. He earned every coin in these playoffs stepping up without Simmons.

Would be cool to be able to get 2019 BaF Champion name title thingies @ NYK mods/Howard Mass, although I guess if you're a mod it wouldn't show up.

Can't forget Brooklyn, they got a tough squad. Picked them to go all the way before the season started and they came real close to winning it all. Good run Mecca

First, thanks to Bish for running things and putting in a lot of work to make baf so great. The real MVP. The game 7 reveal was intense, but a nice touch.

Props to Mecca and BK for putting up a hell of a fight even without Simmons. That was a gruelling 7 game series. BK is a great team that will be in the running for years. A well built squad with a ton of talent and tough matchups. Great job putting that team together.

After all the years doing BAT and BAF, my first chip...it took some skill, some strategy and some luck...We lit in dallas tonight!!

TEAM (HIGHEST RANKING) (LOWEST RANKING)

1. Dallas Mavericks- (1) (7)
What an opposing GM said- Center position is weak AF. Unless Jordan Bell takes the next step.. With that being said, the rest of the roster is REALLY good. Giannis/Jrue/Beal is a great 3-man combo. Collison perfect backup PG and Ariza is a great role player.

2. Sacramento Kings- (1) (8)
What an opposing GM said- With the addition of James Johnson, the Kings should make a leap to the top 3 in the West

3. Golden State Warriors- (1) (14)
What an opposing GM said- added more star power while keeping vet depth. Going to be a top team in 18-19.

4. Atlanta Hawks- (3) (12)
What an opposing GM said- A really good squad. Liked their moves in the offseason, Tolliver sneaky good pickup for 1 buck. But extremely reliant on Durant offensively. Unlike some other teams, if he goes down, team is in trouble.

5. Boston Celtics- (4) (16)
What an opposing GM said- Harden, Love, Bradley, Beverly – Bench is a weakness

6. Miami Heat- (6) (25)
What an opposing GM said- I really dig how this team is build, love most of their players.

7. Toronto Raptors- (1) (23)
What an opposing GM said- Green, Cousins, Ball, Secton, Knox – With the addition of Cousins the Raps should improve, but I think the balance of their roster is too young to make a big impact right away. Look out though as the young players grow.

8. San Antonio Spurs- (7) (21)
What an opposing GM said- Dope big 3. Weak bench besides Sato/Etwaun/Napier, and they’re all guards. Gotta hope AD doesn’t get injured.

9. Denver Nuggets- (7) (26)
What an opposing GM said- A lot of star and solid players, Wall, DeRozan, etc. A lot of bricks too.. Gotta hope that Bullock and Reggie Jackson can balance things out.

10. Utah Jazz- (7) (25)
What an opposing GM said-- I really dig this team. Jokic/Drummond is a little weird but they both can do everything out there. Drummond can play D while Jokic can shoot outside, their two weaknesses are covered by the other. Guards are a bit shaky but they have a lot to choose from.

11. Indiana Pacers- (5) (24)
What an opposing GM said- I like a lot of players on this team. Led by mostly younger guys like Lauri and Doncic, so timeline is a few years off. Porzingis might take a hit with being injured but I can see them being a feisty team that can surprise.

12. Detroit Pistons- (13) (25)
What an opposing GM said- Greenie had a great season last year, and I had a hard time putting her out of the playoffs, but the East got stronger. I’ll probably be wrong.

13. Los Angeles Clippers- (17) (28)
What an opposing GM said- Sabonis should get a bump that will help in the front court. Clips should improve on last season.

14. Cleveland Cavaliers- (10) (28)
What an opposing GM said- Great young core, could make some noise with Dunn signing

Congratulations to Deeeez and the Mavericks. Picking up Darren Collison in the offseason was a huge underrated pickup which definitely seemed to put his team over the top. Jrue, Beal, Ariza, Giannis and Collison is a very talented group worthy of winning a championship.

Congrats also to Mecca. Great season for Brooklyn starting with some shrewd offseason moves and then dealing with injuries during the season which probably cost them home court advantage at least in the East and then again in the postseason. Losing your starting PG and still getting to game seven of the Finals is quite a feat.

Nice job throughout by all teams this year. No obvious tanking from anyone and it definitely seemed like most everyone was active, at least until the trade deadline.

The above preseason power rankings was pretty well done also. Hopefully next October we can get more then 14 teams participating!

Season awards will be announced in the next day or two. Saturday is the day that all options must be exercised or declined for last years second round picks. It will also be the day that transactions can be completed. The draft will begin next Saturday. Free agency a few weeks later.

If you haven't voted yet for the rule change proposal on extensions, please do so ASAP. Voting will remain open until Wednesday. The proposal is the first post in this thread.

We still need a GM to take over for mags (Washington). If anyone finds anyone who is interested, please have them PM me.

Any issues, let me know.

Good luck to all this offseason!

PG | Ben Simmons | Trey Burke
SG | Victor Oladipo | Gerald Green
SF | Caris LeVert | Temple
PF | Derrick Jones Jr. | Trey Lyles | Wagner
C | Joel Embiid | Boban | Leonard

My ENTIRE roster is on the block. I still haven't made a trade. I want to trade one of Simmons/Embiid because I want to break the Sixers duo up.

I have a few bargain bin role players in Boban, Temple and Lyles making 1-2$ per year available as well.

We all deserve to wear a pie in our face for letting Giannis go for $400, and letting Beal/Jrue go for chump change. That'll always be the best BAF core to me. I told Deez when I was working pre-season games that Derrick White is a PLAYER and the dude balled out. Deez gonna be a contender for a minute.
