You would’ve thought going into the series people make their predictions based on knowing both teams will make adjustments through the course of a series and both win games

Majority of Raps fanbase is bipolar with our love of the Raps

That tune changed as soon as KD got hurt. All through the WCF, so many people kept saying that if the seeding had Houston in the WCF instead of the Blazers, the Rockets would smoke the KD-less Warriors easily and it would be a dogfight between Houston and either the Bucks/Raptors. And many felt that either Bucks/Raptors could beat the Rockets in the Finals. The tune about the Warriors being a shoe-in and the West being superior to the East suddenly stopped once KD limped to the locker room; it was a whole new tune.

A lot of posters here and pundits still thought the Warriors were still going to cake walk to the championship after sweeping the Blazers.. It wasn't that long ago.

There were multiple threads about how either we needed the Bucks to win for anyone to even have a shot at beating the Warriors or that Toronto was toast down 1-0 / 2-0.

I've also seen plenty of posters on here suggest the blazers, rockets and even jazz would have beaten any team from the east if they didn't have to go through the "bloodbath" of the western conference

This is pretty much a must win for raptors, every game is a must win for them at this point. Stay level headed and take care of business.

Western conference was over-hyped big time....they couldn't even take ONE **** game off the KD-less Warriors...Raptors, Bucks, Sixers all are able to take at least 1 game.

I mean to be fair the Rockets took two games off the Warriors WITH KD so your overall point is disingenuous. The 7th seed in the west also took two games off the Warriors WITH KD. The Blazers were NOT the second best team in the west and had a charmed bracket to get to the conference finals.

I could see a team like the Nuggets or Spurs taking games, if not the series, off of the Sixers easily, and probably the Bucks as well.

I think most level-headed folks would say that's the most likely outcome. With Klay back and their backs against the wall, the Warriors will put up a hell of a fight tonight. They should be favored in this game and I'm expecting them to win, although obviously I'll be rooting for the Raps.

Even if they come back north tied at 2-2, the Raptors would still have the edge. KD doesn't look close to returning, and if he does return, he clearly won't be 100%. The Raptors have also shown that they can beat the KD-less version of the Warriors at full strength in Game 1. They'll need to win 2 out of final 3 with two of those games at home. That's about as good a position as you could have asked for when the series started.

Obviously the Warriors deserve the benefit of the doubt, but I think they're in a much worse position than everyone realizes. The coasting and "flip-the-switch" mentality that cost them home court and led them to sit Klay so they could "save him for the end of the series" could really come back to bite them here. There is an air of (well-earned) arrogance about this Warriors squad, but it might just be their downfall. This is the best squad they've faced since 2016 and significantly better than last year's or this year's Rockets. With KD out, I'd say these teams are pretty evenly matched, and the Raps have home court.

It'll be nice to see a new champ crowned and for Leonard to win another Title and Finals MVP. The guy deserves more accolades than he currently gets. Also, I'd love for him to stay in Toronto and build his legacy there.

2-2 after tonight boys. And the warriors are winning in 6 games.

I feel sorry for Raps fans but I have to pull this out of my sleeve. Anime has worked well thus far but, Cartoons are still unbeaten. Sorry it had to come to this chaps. Raps aren't winning another game from this point on.

The Clippers and Rockets each took off the same amount of games when KD played. Are you going to say these teams are equally good and that the Clippers may have been the 2nd best team in the West?

I may sound as elitist (and I do apologize for that) but I cannot accept anyone as mature and serious person if he uses and adore anime to prove his point. I mean come on! Adults are talking here, not adolescents.

Lol, you do sound elitist and ridiculous. You're watching grown men throw leather into an elevated hole as they grab and grind on each other. You should try to take yourself less seriously. Adults can enjoy whatever it is they want. Additionally, we're on the internet. If you think saying something like this would be a deterrent or "shame" me. Leave me to my "adolescent" pre-game rituals. If you're not taking me seriously, there is no reason to even reply to my ridiculous post.

Anyway, DUBS in 6 guy. If you want to make an avatar and Signature bet, for who wins the series, I'm all for it. I'd love to have you post with an "adolescent" and childish profile picture and signature for a whole year.

"Adults are talking" Have more cartoons

Some of the shots Van Vleet was hitting off the dribble and a hand in his face, you just have to take that L and move on.
