Over/Under 35 pages until DLo is matched by the Nets.

The only way we sign a player like DLo is by trading Fournier away. So unless we see a trade from Fournier, I won't believe it.

^I dunno; I think I heard on the Locked on Magic podcast earlier in the week that if we renounce Vucevic, Ross and Birch and then use the stretch provision on Mozgov we could have like 32 million in cap space or whatever it was; that might be in the neighborhood to get something done. We'd then still have the MLE and our draft pick to bring back some depth to our roster.

(But I'm permanently in favor of trading Fournier, regardless)

There so much that has to happen though as you just listed. We're not realistically gonna renounce Vuc and Ross and it's highly unlikely we stretch Mozgov. I just don't see us as players in free agency without a trade or two.

I wouldn't like to pay max salary to D-Lo of all people. It would be a big mistake. And honestly I'm sure WeHam won't do it so I'm at ease.

This. I trust our FO and their financial responsibility. Pete (assistant GM) is good.

In the end, i think DLo makes ~$20-23M. I dont think he gets max.

How lucky would we be to get a 23yr old guard on the rise, with elite passing, and still improving? If he continues to develop and Fultz becomes anything, I'm saying it now, we'll be an elite team. Great guards, exceptional wings, and some awesome bigs.

I think he gets $24M at a minimum.

I feel AG and Isaac have that potential.

ok. i just usually view wings as the SG/SF and remember the last time AG really tried to play SF and did not look good or comfortable at all there.
