And I’m starting to wonder who Durant can get as a running mate in the scenario Durant chooses the Knicks
Kawhi- finals win / does he even want to pair up
Klay- he’s Curry’s teammate to the end
Kyrie- seems to want Brooklyn
Kemba- maybe possible but not if Charlotte offers that super max
Butler - has a golden opportunity in philly and if he leaves rumored to have wanted to play with Kyrie in the past
After those guys. Who else is available
Tobias ? Middleton ?
They are not the ones to sign to a big deal as a running mate

I also love how some here are saying Kawhi had to lose in the finals to have a chance of him leaving. But KD/Warriors lose and it means he’s staying.

I don’t understand what this has to do with Kyrie or Kd. Can you explain?

is kawhi admitting he's damaged goods a bit in this ? he says if he didn't take all those games off for load management he wouldn't be able to play now. says he's not thinking about free agency now.
Yo! What's up with Serge laying out penis and forcing Kawhi to eat it? Like, that's a real thing that happened that Kawhi is comfortable talking about. WTF is going on?!?! We not gonna talk about this?
2:45 mark FYI.

No, no. I was early with the idea of signing those two and got a lot of burn for pointing out how Kyrie is inferior. But this idea is now buried.
Imo there's no way Durant would again team up with the winner of the last championship after all he's been through. He could and it should be an ok move imo, but it isn't happening. If the Warriors won as was expected before the series, there might have been a chance. But if Toronto wins, I think both stay - certainly they don't team up in NY then. No way, not at all.

Yup, LeBron had LA figured out close to a year before it happened. The Miami team up sure wasnt last minute either.
Many already know but there could be a few guys still waffling too.

Anyone have an idea of what cap $ will be left over
Do they have room to try and grab a 3rd guy to run with

i've got the receipts. been on this train from day 1.
i don't think this series has any impact on KD's decision. win or lose, he's gonna be where he wants.
i think toronto has done more than enough to make its case to keep kawhi. this is WORKING. like a machine.

The guys hashed/rehashed and hashed it out again in the previous thread! It gave me a headache

If you trade trade Mitch, 3rd pick plus 2/3 of Knox, Frank, DSJ then about 21mil

And you are right but Canada is a different life than the US. Some guys take to it some don't. Also he is very far from family and friends out there. It all depends on how much he values all that. Kawhi is a tough one to read right now. But as opposed to before I don't think he'd have us entirely off the list especially if he sees us assembling a great team here.

Frankly my point was I have no f*cking clue where Kawhi goes, sounds like you’re sure he takes the max to stay in Toronto. What makes you think that?
If anything he can win this chip and bounce somewhere else.
Why?
He says himself it's all about winning titles. The Raptors are about to win one.
The Raptors can easily get back to the Finals next year. He can sign a 2 year extension at max money and keep his options open again down the line.
He could’ve stayed in San Antonio and done the same exact thing, and he won a ring there.
