Hindsight is always 20/20. They had no way of knowing KD would get injured in the WCF

yeah well that's something a GM plans for, especially considering their depth was already threadbare and Iggy, Livingston were approaching retirement. They didn't need Cousins and they should have assessed the risk of recurring injuries after achilles surgery. Its happened to almost everyone who had that injury.

As a lifelong Spurs fan who lives in Toronto, this has all been confusing.

I'm glad the Warriors dynasty is just about over. My boys just gotta tweak the roster a little and we will be contenders next season. The NBA as a whole is probably going to look drastically different next season.

He had such a long rest after the conference finals. It's pathetic how they want to make excuses for his poor play.

To be fair, the fatigued narrative is dumb. He just missed shots, plus Toronto took away his space on most of his attempts.

Klay sure looks fine to me, that and he didn't even look slower or favoring his hamstring, glad we humbled this guy.

Sometimes I forget who went through a 7 game series followed by a 6 game series vs. the team that went through a 6 game series followed by a 4 game sweep which resulted in almost 10 days of rest.

Meanwhile the marquee player from one team battling knee tendonitis and is visibly limping around and hitting huge shots vs. the guy who hasn't really been asked to shoulder a huge load since he literally surrounded by all-stars to the point that deciding which all-star to play is a problem.

Soon they will paint the Warriors as this sad bunch of downtrodden underdogs trying to overcome the overwhelming favourites.

Clay with the Sam Cassell big balls dance. After he hit a turnaround J over Lowry in the post. In the second quarter.

Light work or nah?

Congratulations, Clay.

Kerr screwed over this team by running Curry into the ground game 3 for 43 minutes. So. Freakin'. Dumb.
He was obviously dead tired game 4, naturally.

Hmm, interesting:

Bill Simmons' emergency podcast today said he thinks KD will play an ineffective 20 minutes on Monday. He said Jalen Rose is spreading a rumor that KD's walk-thru / practice was too brutal to play game 4.

He then said either way, KD to the Knicks with Kemba Walker.

Why is it so hard to spell Klay correctly? He's been in the league for nearing a decade.

My original pick was Raptors in 5, I just did it now, teehee.

43 minutes is nothing. Kawhi did 52 against the Bucks in a double OT ECF Game 3. 36-9-5-2-1. Proceeded to also play well the next game.

Y’all defense playing curry the same way the Cavs do

Play him tough , give him no room, that’s how you treat players who don’t have the killer instinct

you realize they doubled kd backin okc? and it worked?

Raptors fans have been saying this for years about Lowry but they always get mocked. Thank you for saying it.

Feels good to see him display it on the big stage.

In the fourth he made their defense look like Swiss cheese.

I think it was calculated risk at the MLE. You have arguably the best center in the game who given his age has a chance to come back at 75% to add to an all-time great lineup. Had KD, Klay and Looney been healthy, Iggy and Livingston would've added enough. Not to necessarily beat the Raptors, but proportionately. They had to shoulder too much of the burden at their age. It's tough when you're paying out so much for your stars. If the Raps sign Kawhi, they'll have a hard time keeping this depth
