he's gonna become the first ever Asian NBA champion and that is something in fact to take in. its huge. historic. probably gonna inspire millions of more Asian kids to pursue basketball.

The first Asian NBA champion? Sun Yue won a title with the Lakers and Mengke Bateer won a title with the Spurs. They weren't Asian?

They don't have a championship on their resume.

I don't know what that means, since they obviously do have championships on their resume and have rings for being on title teams.

lolll. Lin is a bench warmer and has 0 impact on us winning games. Hes just as valuable as sun yue was

You cant win Finals if you have only two offensives options against team with so deep rotation.

Lowry 23pts
Siakam 32pts
Gasol 20pts
Ibaka 20pts
Green 18pts
Van Fleet 17pts

Every game same one stepped up with Kawhi. It could be Finals record or even PO record - 7 different players had 17+ pts games in one series on one team. You cant cheat on anyone on TOR and you could cheat a lot on GSW players. KD would help a lot of in this series, but i dont think he would be changer.

This.

I am so glad to see that there are some down to earth, GSW objective fans after all. Kudos to you my friend!

They just need to go out there and be more hungry for the win than the Warriors. Then they can ice this thing whether golden state has KD on the floor or not.

When Durant first went down I was watching it live and I immediately thought he'd be out for the rest of the playoffs.
Despite all of the BS reports he is still out and even if it goes 7 games the guy is still looking like he's done.

Warriors +350 to win down 3-1 without home court is insane.

Apparently theres inside information on KD.
I still dont think his presence should tip the odds that much.

There's never really been a variable like this, so I can imagine there's some caution. I still think it's really unlikely, not only do the Raptors have home court but they've beaten the Warriors 2X with KD. Golden State's defense just isn't very good, and that includes a year long sample with Durant (and 10 playoff games). At some point in any of the next three games, the smart players on the Raptors would break through, or Kawhi would steal a win on his own.

Just wait until the Warriors run into the Raptors juggernaut defense again tonight and get demolished once again.

What will the American media's narrative be then? Not enough All-Stars on GSW? Raptors were lucky? Kerr was dealing with Hemorrhoids that is why his coaching sucked? Just keep making excuses to protect your golden Warriors.

99% of the media coverage will be making excuses for the Warriors if they lose, and the other 99% now of the coverage is how they can win. Like KD is going to come off from a month and a half of not playing on a gimpy leg and drop 50 on the best defense in the NBA and Kawhi.

KD is not playing in game 5. A few minutes before the game, it will be announced that he is cleared to play for game 6, but there won't be a game 6. KD doesn't want to hurt his legacy by returning on the road and getting dominated by Kawhi. King Kawhi will obliterate Durant. KD better eat well in the offseason and add some muscle. He's too emotionally sensitive and physically delicate for a 30-year-old man!

Kerr has to bench Cousins. Putting him in the starting lineup is the key reason for them getting exposed on defense. That guy is not ready for this moment.

I think they will, even if Kawaii doesn't return. Their opponent will probably depend on him though.

With Kawaii, they face the Warriors.
Without Kawaii, they face Philly, Boston, or Milwaukee.

I think if KD plays, Nick Nurse is already preparing to put together a method that forces him to run around a lot. He's going to have some cardio issues his first couple games back probably.
