Yeah, this concerns me now. What is to stop Memphis from selecting RJ at #2 with the expectation of a trade to squeeze an asset from us for Morant?

An awfully big risk for Memphis because we could just take Ja and then Memphis is "stuck" with a guy they didn't want on the chance we would make a deal with them. RJ said he wants to be drafted by us, we didn't say we want to draft RJ. All indications still look like Memphis is locked in on Ja.

Their biggest weakness is on the wing.
Conley when healthy was hella good last year.

Conley doesn’t match JJJ timeline like Ja does & Conley is hardly healthy. Also almost traded him at the deadline.
Then on top of that, as said, relax. The finals are still happening. Nets trade was the first trade out of left on Friday and that was just a salary dump that can’t be completely until July.

There’s already been news of teams being interested in Conley. Like the Jazz. Let things play out.

Grizzlies are in need of athleticism and dynamic play. JJJ was a start. This is a no brainer.

Knicks in need of an alpha scorer. RJ is a no brainer.

How is that kid a 2 with a body like that and still 18 for four more days? Normally if you see the rare teen phenom built like that he's a center.

Also, I knew he was Rowan Barrett's son, but I had no idea he was a junior until I just looked it up - "RJ" is for "Rowan Jr".
