Relax, warriors won the battle but raptors won the war (durant's injury). Warriors have no chance to win this series.

Durant will play in game 6. Good chance.

You guys need to stop making excues for curry. I don't think Curry has played a lick of defense this whole series to be honest, lol. They have been trying to hide him the whole series. He should have plenty of energy on the offense end.

Do you watch the games? Do you see how much energy Curry exerts to score on offense? If anyone is having it easy it's Kawhi. He doesn't have to defend anyone on defense. And he has plenty of shooters to pass it to if he gets doubled. Toronto is the better team..GSW just showed their warrior hearts tonight.

Do you watch the game??? My bone I am picking is that he is not playing defense, of course he is trying on offense. If you watch the game they have been trying to hide curry the whole series. He hasn't played a lick of defense.

In 3 days? They already announced it's an achilles injury, it's worse than his injury last time that took him out for over a month.

Even allowing him to come back or practice IS NEGLIGENT.

What purpose did it serve to lie about his diagnosis from the moment he grabbed his Achilles against HOU?

Then stringing fans and media along thinking he had a different injury?

This is a HUGE deal.

This could be the subject of a Senate hearing.

Yes 100% negligence. KD should sue their ass.

Kevin Durant, you’re in my prayers. I was really emotional watching you go down like that. One of my new favorite players seriously. That took heart.

Foolish to think that a few people rep everyone but believe what you want if it makes you feel good.

And hardly the worst of all time. so many other terrible moments out there.

It was disgusting but it doesn't rep everyone.

The whole arena = “a few people”

OK

It was caught on video, bud

Yes it was Bud. But do you know if they were all cheering that he as hurt or maybe that toronto was on a fast break? Not everyone is a cold hearted idiot. Of course some of them cheered for the wrong reasons and that's completely wrong but to try and say its everyone is foolish.

Sucks though. KD is likely the best in the NBA and may b out for a year now because of the selfishness of the warriors.

with the KD injury the cynic in me thinks they will not even consider signing KD back, even if he wants too.. ? (that's why the crying show preemptive Bob Myers put on?)

That's confirmed?!?

That's f*cked...can only pray he's one of those players that come out the other end ok/pray.

I'm not just saying it to be nice, as a fan of the game and appreciative of greatness...that honestly f*cking sucks.

The achilles being torn isn't confirmed yet (MRI tomorrow) but Warriors team president just confirmed it's an achilles injury.

Damn something really does though bother you to hear that because you know the downside is much more than a single championship. As a fan of the sport you just pray it doesn't change the player we know when he was just cracking through to the top of the heap...

It's gotta be tremendously difficult emotionally as a player. A big thing too is I really hope he can somehow return relatively quickly so we can still get to see him in his prime.

Legit prayerup to KD!

the saddest part is that he threw away his career for a crap organization.

An organization where the recruiter tells him they don't need him, calls him a bich on live tv, a gm who teases him during a championship parade, a fanbase that hates on him for being too good and taking the spotlight out of their crowd favorite player, and a team that gets frustrated for his injury. Nobody in the warriors cares/will care and thats so unfortunate.

It was bad but I wouldn’t say it was the entire arena. Or hope it wasn’t. Probably a good chunk of it but knowing many Raptors fans personally, it was the vocal loud minority. It looked bad on TV though. I’ll admit that.

My dad and entire paternal family/friends are from Toronto/Raptors fans. Also, my two best friends are from Toronto and friends with rabid hardcore Raptors fans. I was born there but raised in the South Bay.

Oh, right, probably most of them were cheering because they realized at that moment how much they were enjoying their arena snacks and beverages. And they were waving sarcastically at KD because ... other stuff. Stop embarrassing yourself. That fan base did more than enough of that already. Shameful.

Fat chance.

The Warriors can't afford the **** storm that would follow.

Durant will get the max with the Warriors, the question is whether any other team is going to ante up.
