Wow, what a shame. I think it was Doris Burke who reported from the sideline that Durant was going off in the locker at the Warriors owner, et al.

They rushed ole boy back and had media pressure on him by labeling it a "calf strain". When he comes off the emotional roller coaster he will realize their medical staff did him dirty. Players will distrust team docs en masse after this. Kawhi set the tone that others will follow. Uncle Dennis ain't no sucker.

The first time he got hurt he grabbed the achilies, we all saw it, then they reported it as a calf injury. It was BS all along

not sure if I were the Knicks I'd wanna pay a 31 y/o 38M (Y1) to nurse an achilles (if it is indeed ruptured)

I didn't know it was the Achilles when I posted that. For me, this is a message from the basketball gods above. Caveat emptor = Buyer beware.

This is just asking for trouble. But the Knicks will have the HSS look at him and say he's fine and - yada yada - you know the rest.

Amare all over again.

Called it before the game. Warriors were gonna make sure KD leaves injured on his way out.

It’s crazy. We sign a franchise player who gets hurt (Amare, already hurt too), draft one who gets hurt (KP) and think about signing one and he gets hurt!

It all started last week with the Kyrie to Nets steam picking up. Rebuilding was just meant to be for us.

I'm praying for a speedy recover for KD as well. He didn't deserve this

They saw the KP situation coming, and proactively handled it.

Let's see if they did the same here.

They clearly didn't plan at all for plan B or C. Otherwise they wouldn't have stretched Noah 8 months early. If no A listers are coming we'd be able to just let him expire like the rotting milk he is instead of having a $5 million turd on the books and no expiring to use in trades.

The Warriors medical staff told KD and Looney that neither of their injuries could be jeopardized by playing on it. Both left tonight and didn't return.

When you tell a player the only thing they have to risk is playing through pain you are setting them up to look pussy if they opt to sit out.

Warriors love to fancy themselves as a model organization that is player inclusive and moral but they really pulled some slime job with KD and Looney.

100% he shouldn't have been cleared to play. It's obvious his leg wasn't operating at 100%, for it to snap on a relatively low torque move says to me it was compromised.

Now he gets to take $31 million of their cash, and 1/3 of their cap to rehab on their dime.

KD's injury is about to turn free agency upside down. Not just for us but for everyone.

Anyway Knicks better not go after KD after that injury.

He will never be the same. KD an idiot. Should've never played.
