You're 3-1 up In the NBA finals and In this playoff run you've had all the luck In the world. Going right back to the second round against my Sixers right up to this game tonight. And instead of showing a little grace and class when a superstar, who has done your organisation no wrong, goes down injured on your court to hand you YET MORE LUCK, you go and celebrate? I know we all love our teams, but that was as low as it gets imo. The Raps may still win the war in the end, but IMO every other fan In the NBA should be behind the Warriors for the rest of these finals. It's one thing to be tribal, but on a HUMAN level that was over the line. "God works in mysterious ways" they say, And IF this series heads back to Toronto once more, we might just see that quote come to light.

Literally the dumbest post of the year. NONE OF THAT MATTERS. This is a person who just injured himself and some fans were cheering the injury. That's the beginning and end of the story. The fans were jerks. Your efforts to rationalize their behavior is equally bad.

Like I said and like everyone has said in this thread...EVERY FANBASE HAS THEM. Just because it's Canada it makes it an easy target? I'm not apologizing for them but I'm definitely not going to accept that it's just Toronto and not anyone else. There are numerous examples of this happening outside of Toronto and yet this is suddenly front page news? I'm sorry but you have no argument. There is real news to discuss and not this fake outrage that is clearly targeted because you hate a particular team.

Ya...KD wasn't ready to return. This didn't have to happen...it was preventable if the Warriors organization used better judgement and held him out. Maybe we ought to focus on that point.

And yes...Warriors have classess fans and owners as well. No one in Oracle Arena was booing Mark Stevens when he was slugging Kyle Lowry and cursing at him for no **** reason.

I was calling Lowry Fat before this whole playoffs but the way he handled himself against that dumb Warriors owner & the way he was making sure KD was alright & told those trash fans to shut up makes me have respect for him after tonight..

With that being said to Lowry, Kawhi & Ibaka after this series (championship or not) please find a way out of that disgusting country with that fanbase. They don’t deserve none of your services.

Honestly watching it live I thought it was a touching display of support for an injured adversary. Came away thinking Raptors fans there showed a lot of class. This video shows similar to what I observed.

I watched a video of the FVV incident.

You are lying. They didn't cheer. They were quiet for about 2 minutes and then started a Go Warriors chant. There was no cheering and there was not sarcastically waiving him off the court.

I genuinely don't believe the fans realized what was going on at first. It's the sort of injury that doesn't look THAT serious. There is no contact, the player isn't laying down writhing in agony, and the other team is streaking down the court on a fast break which further lessens the injury.

This game has bummed me out so much. My favorite team couldn't pull it off and my favorite player outside those on my favorite team may never be the same again. What a **** game.

While this is certainly not an indication of the Raptors fan base it was quite clear to Lowry, Ibaka and Danny Green that the crowd was cheering the injury. If they thought anything else they wouldn't have responded like that.
Following this is when there was a change to clapping for respect.
I don't think the people that were cheering realised how poor it actually was until the Raptor players responded, but it was disappointing to say the least.

To be honest the big thing that came out of it was actually the way Toronto's players, particularly Lowry, responded.
These guys simply keep rising up as extremely classy players/competitors and people.
