What? Clean block, not even a foul.

If you want to look at dirty plays, look at Lowry taking out players legs while they are in the air. I hope that prick ruptures his knee before he injures anyone else.

Seriously or trolling? That's not even the right play...

Lol.
That was a clean play. Lowry is not injured.
Is this some sort of Raptor board humor that I'm not getting?

Did you watch the full video? Or is this some lame troll attempt? He didn't attempt to injure Lowry. He attempted to injure Siakam on the next sequence.

gotcha.

I mean, he did do it TWICE to Adams in that series. Along with other shenanigans.

Please, let's not mix up things.
One thing is being physical or even dirty, another is to play to injure somebody.
I don't recall Green putting ever at risk the safety of an opponent.
Malone flooring Thomas was unacceptable. Fortson throwing Zarko on the stands was unacceptable. Bowen undercutting shooters to make them roll their ankles was unacceptable (or Pachulia with Kawhi). This can be career ending stuff.
Hard fouls can be bad and painful but are in a very different league.

To answer the original question: for a player trying to injure another on purpose should be ban worthy.

Watch the video above. Draymond leans back while Siakims leg is in a vulverable position underneath Draymonds body. There was clear intent to injure there and if he was successful could have been career altering since its at the knee level.

Any person who doesn't feel empathy in that situation should truly ask himself what type of human being he is.

Shame on Raps fans...

Post#246 » by Prokorov » Tue Jun 11, 2019 12:00 pm

It is one thing to "sports hate" another team or player... but to cheer for an opposing player getting a major injury is just disgusting. thats low scummy stuff. most teams would only cheer if a player down and then cheer him as he got up and showed he was ok. This was malice. gross.

i know there are alot of raps fans here, hopefully none here where at the game celebrating this injury

It was pretty bad. And then later clapping for him after the raptor players telling them to calm down. Not sure why they would cheer.

The same fans that gave him a standing ovation and were chanting KD! When he was carried off.

Even he acknowledged them on the way to the back. I think it was one of those things that they thought he just went down but was not injured. Sometimes a misunderstanding, which is understandable.

More shame on ESPN for showing just that part but not the fans chanting his name and giving him a standing ovation as he was going out. That's classless in my eyes.

When I saw it on TV, I was cheering for Ibaka's play. I didn't realize how badly Durant was hurt immediately.

But yeah, there are bound to be some bad apples in any fan base..

all the reporters and sports networks just trying to make a big deal about nothing. his injury resulted in a turnover, fans were excited, there's going to be cheering even after the play is called dead.

Boogie couldn’t be more right. A lot of fans(those at games and even on here and twitter and reddit) don’t care about these players outside those 48 minutes they’re playing in a game. And will use personal stuff players go through to bash them and attack them for either not doing what you want them to do or having a bad game.

An embarrassing night for Toronto no doubt. But I don't think they knew what sort of injury they were cheering.

Probably thought they were cheering for the same injury the Warriors lied to KD and the world about and called a calf strain when it was an achilles injury.

I just hope these guys do the right thing and give him his max contract. A classic case of if I can't have you no one will. Scary.

I dont even like KD. Hes a hell of a talent, but I dont like him. However I never want a injury that would effect a players career or livelihood to happen. Get well soon to KD.

It's not embarrassing at all... I was cheering at home for what I thought was a stupid turnover by KD.. no one had any way of knowing he was that seriously injured until he was carried off.

Sadly the media may make a big deal of this, but it's just a non-story.

But. But, but, they're millionaires and I'm not, they supposed to just be clowns and entertainment for me. Boo hook I'm going to keep on crying and celebrating that a millionaire got injured cause I dont have that lifestyle.

You nailed. People are pathetic. Those same ones forget that the reason why boogie is on the warriors on a lesser contract is because of this same injury. Sad.

You were at home, not the game.

Hilarious watching Raptors fans try to excuse their scummy behavior. IF this had been in Oakland and it happened to Kawhi, tyhe same fans making excuses would be screaming bloody murder. Raptors fans are scum.
