Can you show me where he defended it? Saying its not a whole fan base is not the same as defending the idiots who did something wrong. Why don't you see to get this? I know it doesn't fit your narrative that we are all bad but at some point you have see that no one is defending them and only saying it wasn't everyone.

No but it's making an irrelevant point and attempting to redirect the conversation from the actions of the large amount of people cheering on his injury. You don't have to explicitly say an action is good to defend that action, you can do that just fine by redirecting the conversation.

I'm an Eagles fan, you'll never catch me defending the Eagles fanbase as a whole though because they're pretty vile fans. You apparently need to get yourself out that same tribalism. Being a fan of the team that doesn't agree with the way they reacted should make you care even more about how they acted.

I'm not a fan of either team. My intention is to stop fanbase bashing because it's not representative of the fans on these boards. The people that your words are targeting.

It's very much relevant and in context. Bashing the fans who are on these boards, that did not cheer and showed genuine concern, that's what I call irrelevant.

No one on here said "RealGM's Raptors fans are terrible people" and you'd be pressed to act like they did. If they did it was towards the end of the thread and probably after the concentrated effort of Raps fans (and non Raps fans that like defending **** people like yourself) attempting to misdirect the conversation. A thread that should be full of people talking about how terrible those fans are is now a thread of people saying they're horrible and people like you going for the gold in mental gymnastics.

As a Knicks fan I never thought twice about the KD to NY rumors until his injury. A healthy star going to NY in the FA is a pipedream. A star coming off an achilles tear going to NY makes perfect sense.

So you think that all of Raptors and NYK fans here who together have more posts and members than all other combined, are any different than representation of the fans of these two teams in general population?
