Most people getting upset may have very well had the same reaction. The arena was amped up, people were going nuts.. Nobody knew he tore his Achilles or was seriously injured. At the very same moment they probably realized that if Durant was injured the odds of them winning he championship that night just went from questionable to probable. This wasn’t the 43rd game of the season, it was a potential championship clinching moment.
So enough with all these apologies. I don’t think a single fan should apologize for having a twitch like reaction save for the people waving him goodbye that were taunting him.
