Just watching I find it odd for how bad the Hornets are that I feel an inordinate amount of their players could be 5th-8th men in this series. We are loaded with switchable, low usage shooters who can't be easily abused defensively.
The vacuum in quality playmakers who can soak semi efficient usage past Kemba and getting anything down low is just so vast.
Is my list way off base? I just find most teams lack depth on the wings and that's the one thing I feel Charlotte has.
For sure could play in the finals
1) Kemba Walker
2) Jeremy Lamb
3) Marvin Williams
4) Nicolas Batum
Maybe could play in the finals
5) Cody Zeller
6) Miles Bridges
7) Tony Parker (pour one out for Tony)

Re: NBA Finals/Hornets players
Kemba would be the 2nd best player on Toronto. I think the top 4 guys are right, but they're all 15-20 minute guys at best besides Kemba. Of the top 4 guys, I think Lamb would play the least. He doesn't fit with GS and he doesn't really have a clear role on TOR either. Nic can revert into Portland Nic and Marvin is obviously a 3/D guy. But i feel like you can do this with most poor teams, so I dont think it really says anything about us.

Re: NBA Finals/Hornets players
This team has had quality depth and role players for a while. The problem is Kemba is the only player on the team that can consistently carry them to wins. There's too much pressure on him and it's been that way for all but two seasons his entire time in Charlotte. And those two seasons, uncoincidentally, were when the team made the playoffs. Al Jefferson in his all-pro season and contract year Batum as well as Lin in the other.
