I know Rich Paul is calling out the Celtics but if things go a certain way both of his or Davis' preferred destination may not have cap room next year anyway to sign Davis. That is if Knicks and Lakers get stars to sign this year filling up their cap space. If Celtics do trade for Davis, he probably would end up staying here a little longer in that scenario, wishful thinking may be on my part.

Not wishful thinking. They either punt another year of LBJ's career or they sign whoever they can and trade for whoever they can if Davis fall through. Then it's the Knicks who might suck for another year and have the cap.

I just don't think anyone would give up a proven player, let alone an All-Star/fringe All-Star for the #4 pick in a two-player draft. Lakers are gonna be hard-pressed to find that third team.
