Why would he not? I think Jimmy is a wild card, I have him returning to Philly tho. I think missing his 5th year would be a mistake. Him playing with LeBron would be hella funny, he wouldn’t put up with any BS.

If only Hayward didn’t stink and we could possibly trade him.

I don’t think we bail on Hayward like that ..

It’s possible we’d break our word to Baynes, which is gross..

Smart/Jaylen/Yabu/14 I think matches salary.. might have to add 20/22, Ojeleye, Williams or a s&t of Theis.. depends partly on the trade bonus..

Depends on if players feel the Stevens Hayward connection reeks of nepotism. If thats the case and your option is to trade Gordon or replace 12 former players with 12 new ones the option is simple.

I’m looking at Kyrie’s perspective. If he’s going to the Nets like a lot of people thought he would pre Durant injury, who is he gonna team up with? Durant is out of the question. You think butler won’t play there, then who tf would Kyrie team up in Brooklyn with? Just he and Russell instead of passing on a Anthony Davis Celtics team? Kyrie’s options seems very limited and Boston by far makes the most sense unless he wants to do the coward lakers move which is only other move that he can compete in teaming up with Lebron even though most reports think he’s not going to LA.

Brown, Smart, Yabs, Williams doesn't even work salary wise unless Davis declines his trade kicker. Neither does Tatum in place of Brown... I think either Hayward or Horford is going somewhere else if this trade is to happen. Rich Paul won't make this easy.

Brooklyn is a way worse team with the same weather as Philly. I just dont see him going there at all. I pray he goes to the Lakers, that would be a horrible fit

The lakers offer is a straight up joke. That would be robbery.

You tell me, since I'm not the one assuming Kyrie goes there with 100% certainty based on 1 nets trade and some half assed reports

I just hate trading for a guy who doesn’t even mentioned us as one of the teams he wants to play for.

If this deal can be done without Tatum then I will run through London Parliament naked. I just can’t see it, but it would be huge by Danny and would limit the flight risk.

What if he just wants to play basketball near the place he grew up in?

I think the Lakers realize they are screwed if they have to sign AD in FA and are using the Knicks as a threat to sign him to scare the Celtics.

Lakers supposed offer of Ingram, Ball and 4 is so damn bad that even Jaylen Brown shouldn't have to be included to beat it.

I say this as someone who likes Ball's potential but he has serious injury concerns at this point. And he has to fix his shooting to live up to his potential as kind of an elite role playing PG. To be fair Ball is fun to watch and has a high basketball IQ.

Ingram has potential but I'd bet against him being very good. And Pelicans or some other third party team would just have a year to decide whether he is even worth signing as a RFA. What do you do if some pathetic team offers Ingram coming off a meh season 30 million a year?

#4 in a draft that is said to be 2 players deep in terms of real good lottery talent is incredibly poor as the best asset in the deal.

The Lakers are offering up what I would offer up in their shoes if I was 90% convinced Davis was walking to the LA Lakers after next season. If Davis are truly convinced Davis is going to do that and they are willing to punt on another Lebron season, the Lakers offer makes sense.

They are offering up a price equivalent to a one year rental of AD.

He very well could be, none of us know and I bet Kyrie hasn't even made up his mind yet.
Maybe Nets dont even have Kyrie as their #1 target and prefer Tobias who's a much better fit on their team and doesn't bring the lockerroom baggage. For Tobias, he gets to play in his hometown and be the main option again which I'm sure he liked being in LAC, whereas in Sixers he was much more in the background

What we read in last week's/days:
- Ball to pho for nb.6 or
- Ball to chi for nb.7

Would LAL nb.4 and nb.6 or 7 be enough for Washington Beal?

- Detroit being interested?

Maybe Ball+4 for Drummond?

So final offer could be Ingram+ Beal or Ingram+ Drummond ...

Something like this.

Wizards would be incredibly stupid to trade Beal.
Handsome.
