Who says no? If pels want Kuzma then swap BI and Blazers thrown in at least a first. Maybe bit more

I like it. Of all the Lakers youngins, I would love to keep Lonzo Ball. Most entertaining player since Magic.

What exactly do the Hawks get out of this if they're involved? Only reason I can see us being involved is to absorb Solomon Hill's contract

The 4 pick. But I don't understand what you give. Picks 8 and 10? I'm not sure that's what NO wants.

For the sake of Humanity, hopefully this trade with Boston is agreed to and Lakers once again alienate all their young guys. That would be justice.

That's solid. Makes sense for all involved. If Memphis could pair JJJ with Ja and Reddish/Culver/Hunter that would be good for them. Then they would be the ideal team to take on bad expiring contracts from teams looking to clear cap space like Atlanta was.

terrible deal for NO...Davis for essentially Ingran and the 7th pick...everything else is just noise

Mike Conley fits exactly what they were looking for in "star veteran". His 21/4/6?

Mike Conley is on the last year of his deal and is on the wrong side of 30...wth are the pelicans gonna do with him?

Lakers get the pseudo-GOAT, win 37 games and miss the playoffs. Blazers win 53 games and make it to the WCF and they are the chokers. Must be that new math.

This type of entitled attitude is precisely why the fans of other teams love to see the Lakers fail. Although, I admit, after posting a losing record for six straight seasons, at least they have the never ending drama to keep them somewhat relevant. Their on court performance in recent memory certainly hasn't.

If you're going to root for an organization to fail based on the worst fans, you've better be prepared to root for every team fail, including your own. All I gotta say about that.

You are kidding yourself if you think all fanbases are equally terrible. Some are way beyond more annoying and deluded than others on average.

I didn't say average, I said the worst fans. bottom 5%. I'm confident that the bottom 5% of all fanbases are equally annoying. The Lakers happen to have the largest fanbase, so you're going to encounter the bottom 5 way more often.

All I know is that if you rearrange the name Pelinka you make Pelikan.

That's probably the hottest scoop of the day so far.

Which fanbase is responsible for that dude going back and forth for 2 pages about Portland in a thread that doesn't even concern Portland, and providing no insight of value except trashing verified assets coveted in transactions?

Heres where you messed up. There's a reason that the Pelicans want a 3rd team involved.

The problem is your assumption that it's only the bottom 5% of the Lakers fans that are annoying.

That's also an assumption on your part that it is more than 5%. I doubt you have data on all Lakers fans and statistics on how many of them act like idiots. I dont claim to know the exact number. Even if it was like 10% or something higher for the Lakers than other teams (willing to consede it would be higher) you'd still rooting for an organization to fail based on the worst representatives, and if you do that, you still have to root against every team.

Reports by Woj and Marc Stein suggest Pels want Lonzo, BI, and Kuzma, but the Lakers will only give up 2 of the 3. They're shopping the 4th pick themselves. If I'm wrong, so is the reporting.

I think the third team is for Lonzo. He isn't good enough to keep around if he is a headache and his value drops the second he becomes a headache. Not worth the risk. I know there has been reports that some in the Pelicans organization like the idea of Ball, but Zion needs a pg that can at least space the floor a little bit with their shooting.

If you take a step back IMO the craziest thing about all this is how the Lakers signed Lebron and seemed to have no plan other than "we have Lebron - everything will somehow work out".
