Celtics because they likely won’t get AD (and definitely won’t keep)

And Nets because Kyrie = PG meloooo

Trust me, we are happy.

How's those Knicks offseason plans going btw?

I'd actually like something along the lines of: RJ, DLO and possibly Beal. Then, sign a max guy next year or 2021. Stay young and continue to build. It's not KD, AD and Kyrie lol but, when given lemons, you have to make lemonade. Add young talent and grow organically.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26960343/kyrie-splits-agent-eyes-roc-nation

Irving, a six-time All-Star, will become an unrestricted free agent and league sources say that he remains intensely interested in the Brooklyn Nets. The New York Knicks are expected to remain competitive for Irving too, sources tell ESPN.

The Nets and Knicks have both hoped to sign Irving and Kevin Durant together into max salary slots. Durant's free agency has been complicated by a ruptured right Achilles that will keep him out of the entire 2019-20 season. The Knicks and Nets are both still interested in signing Durant and Irving together, league sources said.

Regardless of KD's injury both Knicks & Nets still want BOTH Irving & KD. No surprise/shock there

Good so far, thanks for asking. Nothing we can do about KD getting injured but that changes expectations entirely. Not losing any sleep over it, why should we?

We still have Mitch, the #3, all our picks and two from Dallas. Really, we're fine. We'll suck super bad next year and get another high pick. Worked for the 76ers.

If I'm Brooklyn I'm calling Pelicans and every other team not named LA Lakers to try to get a multi team deal for AD going.

Yeah, AD would be the better option. He is younger and you don't have to punt a year.

1. Nets haven’t signed anyone yet.

2. It’s crazy how fast haters go from “Nets are getting none of the premier free agents” to “haha good luck dealing with Kyrie Nets fans”

3. Haters will always hate. There will always be posters who will put down the fan base of the team they despise. No matter who they sign or how good the team is, they will find a way.

Yeah, DLO is gone. They're probably going after Butler. DLo to the Knicks.

It's intriguing. For how much? Would Durant still possibly come? Because then they would have Durant, DLo, Mitch, the #3 and another high pick next year since they'll suck again. Plus the two Dallas picks.

I mean if the Nets sign Kyrie and Durant they will still be in a pretty good position for next year. Replacing Russell with Kyrie should have a similar result and the Nets should make the playoffs (providing Kyrie doesn't ruin the culture). If they hopefully get Durant make a couple of weeks before the playoffs then they can make a run at it.

Think almost everyone wishes them success after what they went through the past several years.

FWIW - while I don't think they'll be true contenders I'm not sure BOS really gets much worse if they lose Kyrie. Esp if Hayward can come back to anything close to what he used to be and Tatum steps up some
