I don't think Brown/Smart/Mem beats the Lakers package.

It needs Tatum. He's the guy that NBA people are far more comfortable projecting into a star even if Jaylen might ultimately be the better player (Tatum's aspirations to be the next Kobe/Melo are not confidence-boosting).

People are unreal. He changes agent, and all of a sudden he is leaving. Done deal.

Roc Nation represents several top NBA players, including Nets guard Caris LeVert. One of the draws of Roc Nation to players has been its close connections to the entertainment industry.

If Kyrie does this he becomes the new leader in the clubhouse for dirtbag nba players. All fans get mad when their free agents leave them , but as far as I know there isn’t another star player that has stood in front of his fans and given his word he would resign. That it was makes this situation unique.
Wanting to play for a hometown team isn’t enough to warrant selling yourself out.
This would make sense if Boston were stuck with the same players , but they are in a position to add talent to compete for a title now. Selfish stupid decision that makes him look like a lying degenerate.
Again IF he does this

I can't even get excited about AD trade rumors with the reload bomb today.

I don't know about dirtbag, but it is some of the most bizarre, unpredictable behavior from a star I can remember. Durant with him to one of the NY teams would've made sense on some levels, but he can be on a top 2 favorite for the title and is choosing (not winning? not $? he's already movie star famous?) instead.

Kyries old agent suggested he stay in Boston it’s best for his career etc....kyrie coming back even with AD is a remote chance. Really not a bomb IMO just reload confirming everything he already gave us and what we have thought that kyries gone.

I feel the same way and I’m presume he means his comment that he gives kyrie a 5% chance of coming back if we get AD.

He can comment on whether or not his intel was before Durant’s injury as I don’t think he specified that. I hope it was....

Following up on an ESPN report, the Celts have, indeed, engaged New Orleans in trade talks for Anthony Davis. Those discussions began earlier this past season, and while they were paused awhile after the Pelicans fired general manager Dell Demps, the sides have been in touch again since New Orleans hired David Griffin in April to run its basketball operation.

For example, knowing what Irving will do could impact what the Celtics offer for Davis. At this point, however, sources continue to indicate the club is intent on trying to secure him no matter what else transpires — and regardless of statements that, if acquired, Davis will not re-sign with the Celtics when he can become a free agent in 2020, a sentiment most recently expressed in comments by his agent to Sports Illustrated.

I think it's now or never for Lakers. NY, Bklyn , etc could be threats next year but Lakers can't punt another season to conserve cap space . Will Chicago have space?

Amazed that LA's current offer is so LOW. It's much less than what they offered at the trade deadline. Will they double it under Boston pressure over the next few days? If LA can get AD for this measly price, they will be a damn good team next year even without a third wheel. And if the deals stays low, it means the C's aren't biting on the one year deal.
