Yep, if I can move well enough to feel like I'm not holding the team back - I'm playing

That team is his family. The way Curry and Meyers teared up talking about him and the rest of the team speaking about him showed that. People act like it's KD and the Warriors because he and Draymond had a verbal altercation 8 months ago but what family doesn't have their arguments? KD is an integral part of that family and he wanted to go to war with his brothers. I would've been out there until my body wouldn't allow me too as well.

If they offer him the supermax for five years, I would believe their family bs. Otherwise, it's just a Hollywood facade.

My hunch is that the Warriors are hoping for a deep discount from KD or that KD would leave them for other teams, so that the team isn't burdened by his contract for next season.

I would have played, given that it would not get worse, but to each their own. Not a soul outside of Durant's inner circle knows what made him decide to play.

Ask anyone that has ever hooped..they want to play, period, especially if they have good teammates. There was definitely pressure whether actual or perceived, but I have no doubt KD wanted to be out there with every fiber of his being

If I felt good and doctors signed off, I would be out there. However,if I felt borderline, even with doctors signing off I wouldnt have played.

1. He has already made 150 million.

2. He will make another 150 mill on his next deal.

3. What would you do with 300 million in earnings? I don't know. Find some hot ladies that take pity on you?
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

"BITCH WE DON'T NEED YOU."

KD is a fool, I'm sorry.

It's like committing yourself to a relationship, just waiting to be heartbroken.

Would I play and risk 200 million...when I was still in pain and couldn’t push off my heel without it hurting?! No, no I wouldn’t play!

I would play with a fracture collarbone maybe since that can heal over a summer.

hell no

Winning another ring would have done nothing for his legacy. He won 2 championships with GS and we all know they would easily win the third if all healthy. He has nothing to prove on that team. The championship is for the other guys like curry for a shot at finals mvp, the role players to add something to their resume or the organization.

If he wins, hes proven nothing we didn't know. If he loses the entire world would blast him wrongfully. There was nothing to gain from playing at all.
