According to the apparently verified insider on Lakers reddit, this is not true.

This is honestly opposite of what I heard, Heard the pelicans office likes Ingram the most, with Lonzo being second since his trade value is higher than kuzma

I mean no disrespect but some of you thinking were getting this deal done WITHOUT BOTH Brown or Tatum? Come on now.

If NO valued the 4th pick at all, they wouldnt be making LA shop it for a different player.

Well yes, I dont think its a good draft either but I would prefer the 4th pick to the 3 picks we have combined.

You must consider this a good draft then.

Its not that I value those players, its just that Brown and Smart to me arent much superior to those players. Smart is otherworldly defensively but to me, thats it. Brown has never impressed me, I think Stevens can pull similar production from any of the Lakers players. Well not Ball, hes trash.

If Ingram didn't have health issues, he's on par with Brown. Lonzo's not going to play in NO, so they have to deal him for a pick in a weak draft. Kuzma's just not that good.

This is hilarious on so many levels. I mean both are super injury prone, one can barely dribble and shoot, the other is awful on defense, had a career threatening injury and is in the 4th year of his rookie deal. So yea.
Good assessment:

Sure, but its also not unreasonable to prefer a future likely lottery pick to this draft. Especially if NO doesn't believe in this drafts talent [which would be my assumption given that they want LA to flip it].

I kind of like Kuzma. Read Ingram had some kind of quack surgery and he has lost lot of value? If that is even close to true it is ball Kuxma and picks. What else do they have?. Many teams in NBA could come up with lots better offers. Like near every team in NBA could come up with better offer.

He is right now.

He's not better than Horford. If Hayward is able to get to about 80% of his former self, he isn't better than him either. He averaged 16 points on 13 shots and 2 assists.

Al Horford is a FA and right now is right now. Not two years ago and not 3 years from now. Right now the best player on the Boston Celtics is Jayson Tatum.

Pelicans getting Kuzma and Ingram to pair with Zion and the number 4 pick would set up a great prop bet of which team will have the most combined wins in three years. Lakers or Pelicans.

So Pels valuong Kuzma higher than Tatum or Danny doesn’t want to include Tatum and wont gamble losing all his chips if AD bolts like Usein Bolt ?

I hate to even bring the guy up because he is so anti-Boston (calls the city #MAGABoston) but MGRADS on Twitter insists that AD to LA will happen, and has been saying it for months. Seems to have sources within the industry including players and agents.

After watching this years season and playoffs Brown and even injured Hayward looking like keepers over him if I have to trade. His fade away jumpers made me sick watching him this year. Kobe ruined him.

Still no Celtics offer leaked.

Either Danny and David are doing this in absolute secrecy or Celtics don't have an offer at all lol.

You really think the Pels or any team in the league values Kuzma as a better asset than Jayson Tatum?

It’s not even a discussion

Well, NO has to find something that tops Brown, Smart, picks, etc. first.

No it isn't if it was then Davis would be a Laker. This package was better at the deadline than it is now. The pick is a nice bump but Ingram and Ball have injury issues and when they were playing were part of a collapse by the Lakers. Hell Kuzma was in that offer. Ball and Ingram have been shopped to every team in the league and at least to this point nobody is buying.

I liked Kuzma over Tatum this year? I do not watch the Lakers often. What I saw I liked. I would not be shocked other people in basketball feel the same?

Watching Tatum was sickening this year. His value had to have crashed.

Yes apparently by staking out hotels and bribing doormen.
