Feel people are missing this.

Going from having all these “assets” and Just left with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is disappointing.

Who knows maybe they become stars but I can see why people are upset.

I get being disappointed. I do man.

I don’t get the disappointed fans who are shaking their heads at fans who would be okay if this fell through and ended up costing the lakers their future.

if we make this trade Kyrie still might bolt. It was a miserable year. It’s okay to look at other options and be excited for said options.

I am not saying we don’t make the trade. I’m saying if we get shut out, let’s not hang ourselves. Let’s support the young kids and green no matter what.

We've been waiting on the "young kids" for several years with no meaningful results. We're the Boston Celtics, not the Maine Red Claws. Give us vets that can contend.
Golden State warriors are sure happy now they drafted and developed their players and became the best team in the NBA. Short cuts like Danny wants to take might get u one if all works out. Long term doing things the golden state San Antonio way works better over the long term.imho

Over half the NBA would love to be "disappointed" with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

I’m saying all we have left is brown and Tatum and they’re not even sure things.

If your not disappointed that we lost a chance at Davis and Kyrie Irving left your lying to yourself.

Whatever happens, happens. I'm ready for anything as of right now. Wouldn't be disappointed if we traded for Davis, I'd be alright if we didn't, too. ;)
Good assessment:

Spurs has Tim Duncan and the one of the greatest NBA coaches of all time.

The warriors were extremely lucky it worked out for them but most of the time it doesn’t work out like that.

I'm kinda enjoying the process. ;) Whatever happens, happens, it's out of my control anyways. The only thing that could really piss me off is if Davis comes here and isn't trying hard and coasting. That would piss me off for sure.

But on the other hand, we are clear favorites if it lasts beyond the draft.

Yeah, Danny this is out on this and doesn't get it done because of Jayson Tatum, then he has failed the post big3 rebuilds. Stockpiling all those assets only to get nothing it's a historic level of failure that I think a lot of us are afraid to admit. I'll always support this team, but if Danny doesn't get this done, I will absolutely question him as a GM for the rest of his time here

People probably like, “who is this positivity jerk?”

If ya want to see me negative, give me two drinks and mention the following names:

Since this seems to be a 3 person draft, New York has a better deal than LA. However, I'm not seeing how Barrett, Knox, Robinson and DSJ is better than Brown, Smart, multiple picks and maybe an asset for either Hayward or Horford.

I’d have this mindset too but I think Lakers could become the most storied franchise ever if they run with Lebron and AD because then Kyrie, Butler , Harris ,kawhi.. one of them comes and the bench would come easy. I just can’t stomach the thought of hearing how the Lakers have taken over as most storied franchise.

Nah, can't knock him when an All Star with no injury past breaks his leg minutes into a 130m contract. Maybe with the Kyrie is a fruit loop/injury risk factor, but he's still an elite gm.

As long as Danny doesnt lose Irving for nothing then I'm fine either way on what happens.

I'm not saying trade for Davis at all cost, just zero interest in taking steps back and not forward at this point in the "rebuild"
At this point in time trading for Irving appears to have been massive step backwards.

We gave up nothing for him honestly and a pick that ended up being only slightly better than the one we kept.

I dont think anyone would of not done that trade. I just hate to lose him for nothing, and to the God damn nets of all people.

****edited my wording because these are real people I'm talking about.
IT was done hate chowder but still don't like that trade as Kyrie ruined most of a year of my time watching Celtics Basketball. I can't get all those hours back. That point guard Cleveland got might turn out ok?

Ha! He was infuriating, eh? I thought after Blount that the #30 should be hung in the basement of TD Garden never to be worn by a Celtic again. I feel the same way about #11.
