You clearly don't get it... the fanbase didn't celebrate, some fans did. they don't rep all just like I hope you don't rep a whole fanbase because some of the garbage you have been writing on here is pretty bad and I thought like you I'd dislike a whole fanbase. Good thing I have some common sense and know 1 or a small sample doesn't represent a whole fan base.

He's not stable and honestly it's a little unfair to engage him with him being in such a fragile emotional state. We have to remember that some people who post here are dealing with emotional issues that extend into the real world. Just sayin' have a little empathy.

This is fair. Ill take a step back. Thanks for checking me on this.

1:12 mark

Reporter: Draymond, What makes Kawhi such a beast to deal with?

Draymond: Uh, he's a good player.

Reporter: Specifically, how would compare him to dealing with peak Lebron?

Draymond: He's a great player and Lebron is a out of this world - one of the greatest players we ever seen. Uh... different players though.

Reporter: How so?

Draymond: They, they got 2 different names. They like different people. Uh...like...yeah they just different. Um...they not the same person.

Just a special kinda a$$hole

Didn't watch the video..but from what you wrote..He said Kawhi is a great player...And i think the last thing Dray wants to do right now is compare Lebron and Kawhi.

He's trying to get another chip..not praise Kawhi.

And why are there reporters asking questions like this? It's the finals and they still cant take Lebrons nuts out of their mouths? Ask questions related to the game they're going to play or things regarding GSW.

Again i didn't watch the video so im guessing it's the tone in which he is speaking in?

This isn't me being upset with Draymond. It is seriously one off the funniest responses I've seen in a while. Watch the video from 1:12 to 1:45. Truly epic response by Dray. I'm still laughing!

Yup, this was a great response from Draymond and you can see the growing maturity in how he handles interviews. I think the reporter was trying to goad Green into making some type of comment that would either be taken out of context to sound like he is dissing Kawhi or dissing LeBron. Dray didn't take the bait, but he still provided truthful answers. "He (Kawhi) is a great player." What about LeBron? "He's one of the greatest to ever play the game." I don't think anyone would disagree with that and even biased fans would have to conclude that both are true statements. "But they are different players." How so? Here is where a younger Draymond may have taken the bait and tried to do a technical analysis which could easily be misunderstood. But he said "They have different names. They are different people; not the same person." Again, all true statements. But he is fighting for a title and he doesn't give the Raptors any bulletin board material to get even more fired up, like 'Kawhi's good but we've faced plenty who are better.' And he doesn't say anything that could make his teammates feel like he has given up on them, like 'Kawhi is just unstoppable; we have no one who even has a chance guarding him.'

Again, great that others can point out Draymond's growing maturity in interviews with this clip. He answered the questions, told the truth, but did not take the reporter's bait and get sucked into a bunch of BS; the last thing you want to do with an elimination game looming.

What evidence to the contrary? I don’t believe the misinformation campaign the Warriors have offered to the public.

An injured calf doesn’t lead to a ruptured Achilles. Only an already compromised Achilles leads to a ruptured Achilles. Or am I expected to believe Kevin suffered a one in a million chance combination of freak injuries?

That KD himself stated that it was HIS decision?

That KD was cleared by TWO different sets to doctors to play, including his own doctors?

Put the tinfoil hat down, this is starting to get sad.

1-2 series: “Kevin’s not even close to returning”
2 days later
1-3 series; Gametime decision: “He’s clear”

10 mins later: career altering injury.

Mark Davis, seriously.

Not trying to kill the guy, but after his "performance" in game 3, I don't think he should have been allowed to officiate again in this series. Game 3 was next level stuff in terms of bad officiating (on both sides).

Sulico wrote:As a big Warriors fan I would give them 25-30 % chance to win game 6. They are clearly outnumbered and too top heavy without Durant, healthy Boogie and Looney. It's Steph, Klay, Dray and then sharp drop. Iggy can defend, but he's not reliable option on offense any more. Everyone else feels like don't belong on the finals floor.

But, if Raptors loose game 6... they are in big trouble.

Just curious why are you essentially giving the raptors a 70-75% chance of winning game 6 in Oakland, but saying they are in big trouble if there is a game 7 in Toronto?

Grow up? I gave him props for his greatness and picked your team to win. But instead of reacting positively to the comment, you decided to gloat. It's not me who needs a lesson about class.

My personal hatred for him aside, I'm being objective. He's played at a level of greatness - as much as I hate the guy - I can't ignore it. You have to understand, my dislike for him is coming from a very personal place. Raptors fans of all people should know when a beloved star weazels his way out of town and the kind of negative emotion it generates in you as a diehard fan. I know it's easy for you to forget that now that you have another legit superstar and your bias takes over in that you don't care what he did to the other franchise cuz that's not your problem. You root for him, you support him because as far as you're concerned, his slate is clean. But that's not the case for us Spurs fans.

Despite what he did to get out of SA, I have never wished him to be injured or for him to suffer a career-altering experience. Doesn't mean he is absolved of the shenanigans he pulled in San Antonio. Doesn't mean the Raptors bandwagon fans are any less annoying or come across as nothing but a bunch of entitled wannabes (Not referring to hardcore fans. Referring to the casual bandwagoners who just want to look cool). My calling him a douchebag is me stating the reality. Not calling him a douchebag without actual evidence of him acting like one in his last year in SA.

This is the last time I will explain myself. I feel this should be enough the clear the air.

Having said that, Toronto deserves a championship as a city. If it comes at the expense of my displeasure at Kawhi winning one, I will accept that and congratulate you guys. But I can never root for him to win it. I just know given the circumstances and matchups, Raptors got this.

Are you sure your hatred is only for Kawhi

Ya no need to justify your comments.

You're a very troubled young man/woman.

I hope you get the help you need.

Seriously.

Honestly, it's pretty excruciating. Exacerbated by the fact that the winner of the last game was the team that choked less.

When did he say it was just his decision? The organization has the final say in all cases. Collaborative was the word. But this guy will have you believe it was Durants decision only which is a lie or at best a half truth. Not sure why he’s so stuck in a box on this but it just needs to end.
